I have been on estrogen only now for 8 months, no complaints feel better then ever but lately I have been feeling like my body is asking for more, my doctors have no answers, has anyone else had these feelings? Sorry, I have been diagnosed as having Kleinfelters or some mosaic of an intersex condition, and in my situation estrogen has been declared "medically necessary" so I know that may confuse the issues. Any and all answers and opinions are welcomed, thank you.

You should check with your doctor. Your body may be trying to counter the estrogen by producing more testosterone. Your doctor can help determine whether you need to alter the estrogen or the anti-androgen, or switch methods. Don't increase dosage without talking to your doctor first. Sometimes the issue is delivery (oral estrogen can get absorbed by the liver and kidneys. Your doctor may want to switch you to a patch, injections, or a combination of oral and other delivery.

These are natural changes. Even if you produced very little testosterone naturally, your body is trying to rebalance itself to respond to your new hormonal changes.

You have to check your blood levels and work with your doctor to get the right answer but I can attest to the idea that you may be feeling something more than just a desire for more more..

When my estrogen creams were not being absorbed I "just knew" I wasn't getting the dose... I can't say why but after a month of feeling this way I got a blood test, and sure enough, my E levels had dropped below a meaningful amount.

Debbie & Kaitlyn, Thank you for your responses. I assure you I have, actually three doctors monitoring me, I only do what they suggest especially since 3+ years of T therapy, did nothing but make maters worse, especially the osteoporosis, lost 2" in height during that time, thankfully my blood work afterward was not great but has only improved in the last 8 months and has been short of a miracle drug for me in that regard.
I have always been different but I guess my femme side will not be denied and I am fine with that really better then fine. I am due for blood work in a week but the last show my E to T ratio 90+ percent in favor of estrogen and all x-rays and cat scans and ultra sounds are either improved or unchanged. Sometime the doctors are more puzzled then I am, one said you have no issues you should have for your age, I am 65, and the estrogen only keeps making things better. Guess I have to love my second puberty along with medicare. Thanks again.

My first three months, I had an inkling my dosage wasn't spot on. Despite ok blood work, we doubled my dosage, and my body immediately told me we got it right. Science-zero, woman's intuition- priceless.

Hi,

Our bodys work quite differently from normal people thats the reason. and dont forget our hormones can change at different times so dont be to bothered, you may need a revalution of your imbalance and as youv suggested you may just need a change of ...type... of meds, and dose to suit,

mine did in regard to body changes, long before i ever touched any meds, my meds are for maintance of my body as a menopausal woman

Unlike many women who should have a top up of P and maybe E, depends on thier homonal balance or imbalance and thats the crux of many issues women have, and after giving birth to children, even going through carrying thier child,

Paula - Thank you for your reply, you are very correct, intuition is not only priceless but usually very accurate.

Noelenna - Thank you for your opinion, I know from reading your posts you can understand my issues, my one DR. agrees with you, she thinks it is my body finally getting balanced and what it needed after decades of not having a correct balance.

Again thank all of those who took their time to respond or just read my post.

Hugs to all.
