While checking my email today, I noticed that I had a lot of girl type email.
Whats on sale at Sephora, Mac, Dress Barn. I even got one from Maidenform letting me know that if I bought certain foundations that were not up to there standards that they would send me a Visa card to buy new ones that are up to standards.
I sat back and thought to myself anybody looking at my inbox would think it belonged to a girl.
So the question is what do you get? More Guy email, or girl email?

Well, I keep separate addresses, so guy emails in one, girly emails in the other. Hope not to get them confused.

Yes, I have noticed that trend to get more women's products advertising emails than others on my buying email address. I get messages from Jones of New York, Maidenform, Bare Essentials, Bebe, J. Crew, White House/Black Market, Pandora Jewelry and probably a few more.

I purchased some things from Hanes and now I receive emails from OnesHanesplace, which I love. They always have nice depictions of bras, panties and pantyhose typically with female models.

I buy most of my girl things online, so I receive a lot of girl mail. It's funny because I never registered "Julia" on any online store, never lied about my gender, but I receive lots of it. I even received congratulations on International Women's Day last month.

I know this is all automatic but I still like when I receive messages as "your favorite lingerie is on sale".

I get the most emails from China promising to make my yang bigger. How the Chinese know I have a problem with my yang is mystery!

I still get a lot from Charlotte Russe. I bought some stuff from them
only once, but i like getting their email. Even though very little would
fit me, it's still interesting to see what they have. Some very nice
things...but watch for sales...they can be a bit expensive.

And lots from ebay. I always have stuff in the watch lists.
Funny that sometimes I do buy their suggestions. Or they
at least set me off looking for some new thing or another. My
separate girly account on ebay has worked out Great!

Banking Scammers, lottery scammers, Viagra spammers, Chinese management seminar spammers, romance scammers, students wanting me to do their final year projects for free, announcements from the local LGBT centre, fashion announcements from one particular store, notification of Facebook or Google+postings, announcements from some software vendors that I do purchase from... And about once a month, a personal email message.

My current estimate is that I receive about 200 spam or scam messages for every legitimate message.

I can such a wide range of emails if anyone saw them they would probably think "That is one scattered person." :D

I do have to say I hate some of the daily emails from shopping sites, it seems a bit much to me.

My Email... It depends on the particular day. But I would say it reflects my interests and buying habits on various subjects. And maybe someone who I actually know.

1) Politics usually leads the pack, mostly persons wanting me to donate. I've never given them a penny but that does not stop them from asking, begging and pleading at times.

2) Merchants are next usually with a sale that ends very soon. Coupons that are mostly meaningless. They seem to know what I'm window shopping for at the moment tempting with their shiny things, pretty clothes or something they just can't sell and hoping I'll take the bait.

3) Environmental and animal rights come usually neck and neck pleading with me for donations or to sign a petition.

4) Notifications from forums / social media sites.

5) And finally... the mail I want... maybe... if I can find it amongst all the other stuff.

Added...
Guy mail or girl male? Gendered mail? ... mmm... I say it's a mix that reflects me. :)

We have to get in touch Beverly, it turns out I just received an email from a 2nd cousin who still lives in Nigeria. It turns out he is a Bantu prince and has just received the throne along with 1 billion Zimbabwe dollars from his father/my cousin!! I just need some help in getting my share of the inheritance (1 BILLION ZIMBABWE DOLLARS!!!). Turns out that spam email and sizable amount of money blown for finding out my ancestry really was legit tracing my roots to the Bantu in Nigeria!! To think I always thought that ethnic group originated in the souther part of the continent!

On all seriousness, most of emails come from Old Navy, too many wig stores to mention, Pay Less, Adam & Eve:o (note to never check personal email on work computer), Target and Women's Health.
