First let me apologize if this thread is in the wrong place. ..

Can anyone point me in the right direction or recommend a therapist that has gender related experience in corona\riverside CA? I've searched the web but all I keep finding is either disconnected numbers or broken links... found that even on tg/ts resource pages are mostly out of date.

Thanks

Not living even remotely close, may I suggest you contact any local LGBT organizations and ask which therapist are recommended.

For what I gathered from comments and post from this forum the VA (closest to you is Loma Linda ) does offer treatments to TG patients and while I was there during a clinical rotation I saw quiet a few TGs. Other more secure and viable option would be to talk to your physician for a refferal to your nearest specialist, good luck

Let me add that I do have an appt. Tomorrow for therapy... I can travel if it comes to that and I have looked at most if not all lgbt resource pages in my area but only came up with dead ends. That is why I reached out here <3

I don't know of anyone over that way, but try contacting these two people for leads:

Rosalyn Laudati, Ph.D. in Newport Beach. She has been doing gender therapy for something more than 20 years in OC, and is well connected.

Dave Pincus, Ph.D. in Orange. He's a professor at Chapman University, does gender therapy, and also is well connected.

I don't know if there are any gender specialists in the Riverside area. You can try contacting the LA Gay and Lesbian Center or the LA Gender Center, they both have lots of therapists. But LA, and Newport Beach for that matter, are all a long drive from Riverside. Maybe someone at these centers will know of any therapists in the Riverside area.
