My post, a month ago sparked some debate. To go to father in laws house presenting male, or hold my ground cause I'm a woman. The responses were equally divided (and a few downright insulting, but I don't hold grudges) between:
I must keep and respect the family harmony, and, screw 'em, they have no right to tell me how to live.
To boos, or applause- I have divorced myself from him. We were not friendly anyway. I'm going to Easter with my loving father. My wife is going to Easter with hers. I don't feel that I've lost anything, and he is probably glad to be rid of me.
Nobody has the right to tell anybody how to live...I'm so relieved.
