At the end of 2012, with my wife's support, I started living full-time as a woman. Unfortunately, around September of 2013, due to a number of unrelated family crises, I felt it was more important that I put everyone else's needs before my own (sound familiar?) and face the world as a man.
While I could have added having the families deal with my trans issues to what was going on, it seemed wrong to add that to their dealing with the unexpected deaths of multiple family members over the course of three months (all illness related).
However, my wife and I both felt that it was now time to move on, and my first, formal therapy appointment is the middle of next month (earliest appointment I could get).
So wish me luck, or at least cross a finger or two for me if you get a chance ;)
