Hi Lori,

For me going out dressed is just going out dressed. It doesn't make me want to be transsexual as I am happy being a guy who on occasions likes to dress like a girl. :)

No - crossdressing does not influence me to become a transsexual.

No I don't want to change sex. Don't assume that dressing is a prelude to deciding to become a woman.

No it did not influence me. I wanted to be a girl since i was a child and at that time i never knew about transsexuals. I felft this was before i starter crossdressing.

I don't think I'd ever want to fully become a woman, but I would like to become a little more feminine I guess. Crossdressing for me is really just a very small, but important part of my life so far, but that could change in the future

Hello lori,
no lori, the dressing makes you feel feminine which can be switched on and off when you dress but has little to do with the trassexual feelings as they are there all the time whatever you are wearing .

I have never wanted to be a transsexual. I have often wish I could have real boobs but only for one night or two then they'd have to go away. Tee hee

My sexual goal would be to satisfy women, ideally as many as possible, but think in reality I'd just look after wife :)

Dressing has a calming effect on me, these days I have no desire to transition and I just like to wear the clothes and look convincing.

No, i only like the feeling of dressing in womens clothes and heels. The feeling is so different.
But i never thought about gender changing.

From what I have learned here, Being TS is not about CDing at all, but of an internal feeling of femininity and of identifying as a woman when biologically you are male. So I suppose the wanting as you are describing it is to transition. You are either a TS or you are not, you can desire to be one all you want or don't want, it won't matter. I suppose too that during times of dressing can we or do we fantasize and wish to be biologically female?? I would assume the latter to be somewhat typical, I think in some ways many of us are doing so in some fashion. At least at that very moment in time, if there was a switch that could be flipped and make us biologically female temporarily, I would imagine most of us during times of dressing would flip that switch, then flip it back. TS girls on the other hand would only flip it once and leave it in the female position, and never look back.

I've had thoughts of signing up for their team but those thoughts only happen when I'm not dressed.... As soon as I dress those thoughts fade away....

Isha, that's exactly where I want to be! I don't feel I'm in the wrong body, but I love expressing the side of me that's feminine from time to time. It's a great feeling!

Well, if I could try it first for a few months then decide, I would definitely want to become a woman for the trial period. It would be so nice to wear pretty clothes that fit and to just go about my daily life without trying to pass. Now I could never even come close to passing.

Yes that would be an interesting experience, but in the end i think i would be willing back into my normal man-life (with some crossdressing as a hobby) i have now.

Crossdressing for me is about expression and tapping into my feminine side. I love the feeling of putting on womens clothes and looking pretty but that does not mean I want to be one. Dressing is enough to make me feel complete no further changes needed.

A long time ago I might have felt differently and would have jumped at the chance. Mainly because at that time I was thinking more in a binary way, and not realizing that I had a choice in how I choose to express myself. Time has shown that if I could just dress when I want to without any fears of "outing", I would be happy to be able to switch back and forth. (There are times guy mode is fun.) I like being able to pick a day or night (or both) to just go out and enjoy myself in another aspect of life. I am closer to that goal now, but I have a few challenges ahead that I must deal with before I reach what I would consider a comfort zone.

YES, if you love transforming into a girl a lot as a CD and your face and body could be made to look girly you could enjoy being a girl fulltime and not outed or chastised by stupid society. Imagine wearing the clothes full time, being treated feminine, enjoying the curves and figure of being a woman. What's so great about being a man when being a woman offers so much more especially for those that are CD's and the feelings "ain't going away, they are there till death" and you can't shake CDing. Another choice which might be O.K. is living as a woman full time, taking hormone, plastic surgery including breasts but keeping the male package. There are millions of women that enjoy the benefits and advantages of being a woman that men don't have and would not change genders even if they could.

Now for a question to a long time gg member and former moderator, Would you change your gg gender to that of a man if you could? If not why do you prefer being a genetic female over being a male?

As I've explained to the few friends I've come out to, I like being a guy and doing guy things. But I have another side of me that is a girl and wants to be a girl, they are both me and I would rather be both than one or the other. More fun that way ;)

I've hid my sudden loss of hair as started to swim more "professionally" and that my partner wanted to see what I looked like hairless, everyone seems to have bought it.

Once upon a time I would have jumped at the chance, but over the years I have accepted the fact that I am who and what I am. I dress to keep in touch with the other half of myself.
