So I am 2 weeks in and I was wondering, what did you notice in terms of changes when you were 2 weeks in? I noticed a bit of emotional changes, but that's about it. I know it's still very early, but I've heard people report tenderness in the breast area and all that and I haven't experienced anything physical yet. I understand everyone is different and everyone's experience is unique, but I was just curious.

Enjoy the ride...there can be many effects depending on your combination of HRT.....you may notice cramping of leg muscles...hoarseness and maybe even loss of voice level. Your spiro level will result in multiple trips to the bathroom as there is a great diuretic effect....the upside....yes there are.......the breast tenderness is actually good...sensitivity and an itchy sensation..the itch(after month) is related to skin expansion.....facial skin softness and decrease of body hair will be welcome.....please remember.....changes vary as to degree and time.....doc visits and checking blood levels MOST important.....as we say....enjoy the ride!!!!!!!

Ok, so I have been noticing muscle cramping in my legs, arms, and lower back. I just figured I had done something to make them sore. My voice has been cracking lately too. In fact, I was answering a call from my market manager and my voice cracked like a 13 year old boys. My part timer busted out laughing at me. The spiro caused frequent trips to the bathroom only for the first few days and then that went away. I have yet to experience tenderness or itching in the breast area at all. I'm really looking forward to that. Well I'm glad to know that more is going on than I thought. I hadn't connected the sore muscles and cracking/hoars voice to the hrt. Thank you for the info!

"My boobs are growing! Oh wait, pulled a muscle."
It's been around 2 weeks for me and I've gotten the constant use of the toilet and being less stressed but aside from that it's probably not something that'll be noticed.

Girls....need a little "inconvience" for the ultimate gain!!......it does get better!!......around 6-8 months you will notice loss of muscle mass also.....

That's interesting - I have been on M2F HRT for over two years and I have not noticed any effects on my voice at all. And I have a bass voice.

But there is the long term breast growth pains. I now wear C cup bras and I still have breast growth pains. It does take a very long time for breasts to develop fully.

If I recall correctly I did not notice any effect two weeks into HRT. When I started injections after a year on Estrogel I started noticing my breast buds growing.

There's definitely moments of "OMG ITS WORKING!" only to be countered out by the fact it was all just a side effect of eating too much cheese.

I noticed a change in my skin quite early on. It was as if the pores were cleansing themselves of oils and toxins. The result was a few weeks of breaking out in spots/zits on my face and neck. Eventually I wa left with a nicer skin, not so oily, and now have to moisturise regularly.

I can attest to that! Just last night, I popped a massive zit on the tip of my nose. Ugh! And my face has been super oily. I never have acne issues either. Its crazy, I never thought this was all connected. Its good to know that this stuff is all tied together. I guess I am experiencing more than I thought!

Voice box will not change regardless of how much HRT and what combination is used. The only tangable changes in voice are those by FtoM when voice becomes lower in tonality due to introduction of T.
Unfortunately voice is one of the toughest to train but said that, it is quite possible.
Within first two weeks you can observe severe weight loss, due to diuretic characteristic of spiro.
But aside from that everything else will take some time. The younger the person the quicker and more substantial the change, but even for those in their 50's changes are coming!

By the way, congrats!

Yeah, I certainly dont think my voice is going to get any higher without training. But, it has been more hoarse and cracky lately. Who knows, maybe its just the pollen >.<

At two weeks in, all I really noticed were my patches and pills were going to need refilling shortly.

While I didn't notice any physical changes after two weeks, I did experience a wonderful emotional and psychological change within a week of beginning HRT. A great sense of peace and calmness came over me. I felt "normal" for the first time in my life. After about a month my nipples began to bud and become tender. After two months my skin soften noticeable and I began to lose muscle mass in my thighs, I also notice a lose of strength. At three months my breasts began to swell slowly. By that time I also noticed my testicles had shrunken considerably. I've been on HRT for about six months now, and these changes contunue slowly. I can still get an erection, but not spontaneously. Orgasms are possible (and wonderfully different!) but ED meds must be used.

I've gotten used to the fact I must get up during the night to use the bathroom. I've found that cramps are caused by dehydration (from the Spiro) and drinking lots of liquids help. Your own results will most likely be different. It will depend on your age and the amount of estrogen and Andro blockers you are taking. So don't compare yourself to others, just enjoy the ride. Changes will come sooner or later and when they do, they will be wonderful.

its different for everybody.. physical changes are measured in months and years.. some people get very little and others get alot of changes...the younger you are the better

in my own case, my skin reacted a lot , my breasts got very tender very quickly (5 or 6 weeks) but I didn't have much growth ...I did end up with little boobies
My hips really didn't change at all for two years!!!! but after I had srs the fat really moved around a lot and they really ended up having the most change!! I would say that above all things my hips ended up being something that genders me as obviously female which was a huge surprise.. proof that you never know..

there will be some magic moments like when you bump your breasts and it hurts or when you realize your skin is a bit softer....
those are likely to come in the coming months for you!! if not, your blood work will help you understand if there is an issue that needs more than patience..

over time hopefully your blood work will show no issues and after a couple months you can also find out what your estrogen and testosterone levels are and you can manage the doses

it will not impact your beard or your voice

I am also just starting and I am trying to approach all feelings with some level of doubt so I don't get worked up. Then maybe I can just ignore thinking about it altogether. It isn't an easy thing to put out of your mind after waiting so long. I had a bug of some sort for four days before starting HRT. Then after a week on the meds, I was huffing and puffing going up stairs and mowing the lawn and was feeling a bit weak. Had leg and foot cramps too. It couldn't be happening so soon!

Then the congestion got worse. I hadn't shaken the bug yet. Now the cramps were probably a combination effect but the rest was life. I am now feeling another effect and just trying to put it out of my mind. It isn't easy at all because we want things.

I am also wondering who is using pill form vs injections. My doc said he doesn't really like the injections because they cause too many highs and lows in E levels. It's understandable but at the same time, I have heard of people having better success with injections. I wonder if that's actually true. My next appointment is in August. Hopefully I'll have a lot to talk about with the him.

I did the pills under the tongue for a while, and switched to injections. Pills go through the liver and at my age not good.

I tried Estrogel for a year and it was not very effective and was rather expensive. Then I switched over to injections and shortly thereafter I noticed my breast buds starting to grow.
