What's Your Longest Stretch Ever As A Woman?

This doesn't apply to full-timers of course, but for those of us who only get to dress up occasionally: what's the longest stretch where you haven't worn a stitch of male clothing? I just set a new personal record of 8+ days, and it's going to be so hard to switch back! Some highlights included a round of golf, a night at the theatre, a baseball game, and I went to church on Sunday...and I even have a little money left over after splurging on a new dress, skirt, shoes, makeup and some undies. I cooked for myself ever day (except twice when I went out to dinner) laid out by the pool a lot and went jogging every morning to keep my girlish figure. I have to turn back into a pumpkin in a few hours but the memories will last a long, long time....

I am not able to venture out so besides being stuck in the house for five days it was great. Although with five days in the house all the rooms were extremely clean and all the old files were gone through and the paper shredder was given a work out.

4 Days.....just recently at The Tgurl Weekend in Saugatuck Michigan April 5-8th at the Dunes Resort.

Well it was a long weekend event for me. Saturday night was the actual Prom/dance. Sunday was Bingolicious (Drag Queen Bingo). Monday while I was on my way home to Detroit, I stopped in at the Fire Keepers Casino just east of Kalamazoo......didnt win but I spent 3 hours in the presence of thousands of people, with not a negative comment. In fact the Pit Boss (female) was extremely friendly to me offering me drinks and even commenting on my nails. What an experience.

It was a Lutheran church - I'd never been to a Lutheran service before, but it was the closest church, and I went to the 8:00 service, so not so much pomp and circumstance, very low key and quite lovely. I wore a simple dress, flats and a raincoat (it was unseasonably cool that morning) and everyone treated me very kindly at the passing of the peace. I ducked out after communion so I didn't mingle though. I find attending church as a woman to be a very spiritual experience, after all God made me this way.

8 days for me. It was about 2 years ago when my wife and I took a "girls only" vacation and toured around New England.
We visited the submarine base at Groton, Ct., LL Bean in Maine, Acadia National Park, various places in New Hampshire and Vermont before entering NY and heading home.
It was really hard to "revert" that Tuesday to go to work, but the trip was incredible.

That's happened every time I've gone to the Southern Comfort Conference in Atlanta.

I leave the house as Linda and return 6 days later in male mode.

By the end of the conference I'm glad to scrub off the makeup and put away the heels.

While living alone I have to say the only time I was not dressed was to work. I found myself tearing out of male clothes everyday before I could even get in the door of the house good. But w/o a stitch of male clothes? 3 days back in 2003 at a gender event. And I must say after 3 days of high maintenance, shaving twice daily, etc. I was exhausted. Did not dress for about 2 weeks after.

2 days for me! But, it was long enough that I felt so comfortable in my feminine clothing that I began to talk, walk, act and really feel feminine! At times, it felt so natural that I wasn't even thinking like a CDer, I just normally tucked my skirt under me as I sat and crossed my legs at the knees, female style, etc. I became so accustomed to my wig that I no longer found myself brushing the hair from in front of my eyes all the time and when the time came to return to drab, I hated to remove my nail polish!

I have gone three days. However, the issue I ran into was the shaving. When I dress I go out and I like to keep a good appearance. After three days my face began to get dry and sensitive due to the close shaving and makeup cleansing. I don't know if more time would have been fun.

For those who have gone longer than a whole day, I can only guess you include time in the shower as "being dressed" and time shaving also. I can only go for about two days without needing one the other or both of those and I dont go into the shower dressed, face it being in the shower means facing the "real."

My reply has many unintended landmines within it. So far it has been two weeks that ended only because I had a series of VA doctor appointments coming up. A broad statement might be that there are no time restrictions left for me, so how did this happen? First of all former wife, all life-time friends and relatives worth knowing have all departed earth. Who know me presenting as male? The docs at the VA hospital, my banker, landlord, attorney, and I forgot, one elderly wheel-chair-bound nearby cousin and her male partner. Now one would say that's the hand God dealt you so work around that schedule and you have 90% of your life available to be whatever you want. "Not so fast", says God, "you don't get off that easy." "You see, I made you as a human with all the frailities built in for it wasn't my desire that anything I created should live forever and,though you're well past your alloted lifespan I'm not going to let you forget your mortality". And what does He do to remind me? Might be early afternnon, or in the wee hours of the morning when parts of that decaying body yells out in pain, blanks out the brain or whatever else He sees fit to do. The female trappings are quickly shed, skin is scrubed and it's decision time: do I push that alarm button, drive to a ER or wait it out? False alarm and dressing begins all over again. So what was given up deliberately or otherwise? And how free are you now really? Sorry if that was long but so is a long life if lucky. Now go back and find the land mines for they lie hidden in all our lives.

Must have been more than a few years ago, on vacation, letting something or other heal. I stayed in the house fore several weeks, never wore any male clothing at all, even took out the garbage in the middle of the night as a girl, albeit in a black turtle neck top, dark skirt with black tights and black shoes. In the dark, it would be hard to quickly verify what I was wearing even if anyone saw me. There was no enjoyment, thrill, nothing; I just felt normal.

Not if you take bubble baths instead of showers, with lots and lots of bubbles :o seriously when I'm on a long stretch as a woman I always take baths instead of showers, there's something so feminine about soaking in the tub, shaving your legs and underarms, etc. And when I'm at the vanity putting on my moisturizer and makeup I have a little terry body wrap and a terry turban that makes me look as feminine as I feel :)

Hmm I'm jealous of those of you who can say days or even weeks dressed. It's definitely on my bucket list to spend at least a weekend. I don't know if Ill ever get the chance now. The longest for me would be about 24 hours. I was a teenager I think 16 and my whole family went away for a holiday without me. I pulled the grumpy teenage routine and the dog needed minding anyway. Had the place to myself. I was lucky too that my Mother collected clothes off other people to be sent to charity. So I got a few things that way. I wore a powder blue corduroy dress and white boots. It was the seventies. At night I slept in a nightdress. I also took the dog for a walk at night dressed. It was heaven even if the boots were a bit tight being size 5 and I a size 6.

Now I often underdress for days. But it's not the same.

Reading some of these replies makes me realise just how lucky I have been!

The longest period I have spent as a woman is about 4 months constant!

Back in 2008, my partner went to Thailand for an extended period, and I accompanied her. We left England at the start of January, and returned at the end of April

I had been toying with the idea of taking Susan with us, and I discussed this with Chloe (my partner) and we came to the conclusion that this was going to be a 'once-in-a-lifetime' experience, so I thought "blow it", and took the barest minimum of male clothes, and packed my suitcase with everything femme - underwear, skirts, shoes, make-up etc

For the first few days there, I presented as male, while I got my barings, but then I threw caution to the wind, and emerged as Susan

I DID stand out, but that was because I am 6foot 2 in my stockinged feet, and I towered about all the Thai people I came into contact with!

It was a very enjoyable experience, although it did make me realise just how time consuming being a woman is - I had to get up about an hour before Chloe did, so I could shave, get dressed and put my face on. Doing this once a week for a night out is one thing, but doing it on a daily basis is something else!

When we returned to England, I was all set to continue living as Susan, but circumstances dictated that I had to return to the male mode, which was disappointing

Fully dressed, I just beat my old record by going for about a week. I have to go back to male mode for some business meetings, and a trip to visit my girlfriends family in China for the next month. Unlike a lot of other comments, it isn't super hard to go back and forth for me. The hardest part was I just bought some new items I'd LOVVVE to wear out, that I now have to have patience to do so.

For me one of the big things I do change is how I style my hair, and I don't like to do it too often. So once I go into male mode, I stay there until I have to the time to enjoy the hair.

Fall of 2013 I was in Tucson for 2 months alone without my wife. Allison came out 5 or 6 of every 7 days for the entire time. I never left the house as a male on dressing days. I saved all my errands and running around to be done dressed and went male at home primarily to let my face rest from close shaving. It was heavenly and the realization of a lifelong dream. I encountered only respectful and kind comments and was treated like a woman virtually everywhere. I don't pass but prefer to say I 'blend' dressing appropriately and being respectful. Some of my neighbors saw me but paid no attention. Now I have committed myself to dress more often and my wife has agreed. After knowing of my desire and seeing my love and need to dress for our entire marriage of 30 years, she realizes if she wants me she has to take "us both". I encourage other gurls to tell their s/o's asap in the relationship since hiding this is torture and life is too short. It helps to get older and then you find yourself saying "I don't care what others think" more often and getting on with what's important in your life. Finally being the gurl of my dreams/fantasies was soooo freeing and liberating it was sad to take it all off each night for bed…but now there's tomorrow! Good Luck.

I went 6 days and 5 nights minus a couple hours on two days where I had to go into town. I went to a camping event with my GG girlfriend at the time, it was at a LGBT campground and there was 60+ people that would see me dressed everyday and one night there was probably over 100 people there for a big bonfire. It was a lot of fun and I wish I could go anywhere and be as accepted as I was there. It was awesome, strangers were referring to me as a lady without missing a beat. I was very shy at the start of the week about dressing up in front of strangers but by the end of the week I was very comfortable. There are seasonal permanent residents there that have permanent trailers on the site and one of them was hosting a large karaoke party and invited us. My girlfriend and I at the time got all dressed up and wore nice dresses, we walked in and everyone said "Hey ladies, come on in, welcome". It did a lot for my confidence and feeling accepted. I'd love to do it again.

i want to say 6 weeks but that is not entirely true. I had to work during the day, but for 6 weeks as soon as i got home, marsha was waiting for me. All non working time was spent dressed. No one else at home, (wife on out of state work assignment). It was in this time span that Marsha came into her own and stepped out several times.
It was really hard to return to "normal"

It's hard to say, maybe 24 hours. I was home alone when the rest of the family went away on a holiday for several days. My late teens I think still in school. I didn't have many clothes I mostly remember a powder blue corduroy dress and a pair of white boots which were a little too small for me. I did go out dressed at night walking the dog in local park which was quite safe.

I couldn't stay dressed all the time because I had to go out and about during the day.

I wasn't glad to see them come back.

I really want to do a few days at a time. That's on my bucket list.

So fascinating to learn about each of our experiences...I just wrapped three whole days as a woman and it was like a farewell to summer with two lovely visits to the pool at my apartment complex, and 9 holes of golf where I was invited by two gracious gentlemen to join them! Such fun...and so hard to switch back again :sad: But one thing's for sure, my inner woman will be out again soon :)

4 days for me - I had a vacation by the coast in a remote cottage on my own and didn't take any male attire - lovely walks in the hills and by the beach. A couple of strange visits to the local store for supplies.....

Otherwise lots of weekends when I was living on my own.
