......when you retired. I'm going to be retired soon (9 years) so I'm getting all of the retirement planning done now.
How was it for you?
Did your CD world get larger or smaller?
Did DADT get harder, easier, didn't exist or go away?
Did you have to go deeper into the closet or did you take over more closets?
What say you, hmmm?

Probably got a little smaller when my wife gave up work.
More restrictions on going out just to fit in with life.
I am not retired and do have a good relationship with the wife.
When on holidays it is all go.
If you have a good relationship with your wife it should not change much.
It should probably expand.

After I retired my CD time and activities increased. My wife was still working so I had time to myself. This allowed me time to be en femme and to spend some time out in public.
However, there are many changes, adjustments other than those associated with CDing that need to be made. My wife was used to being home alone as she got ready for work. She had the idea that I should always be busy doing something. How you and your spouse get along as you interact for longer periods of time will get challenged. Not all
marriages survive these challenges. I wish you good luck.

Hi Carla, What changed for me I now have about three hours in the morning no ant more time on the computer now
We are a DA--DT with a tolerating wife of 50YRS. I know my boundaries and stay within them and live is great.

Carla, I am not retired yet, but will in about 2 years. We were a DADT couple until about a year and a half ago. My wife has had many health problems over the years and the most recent is a heart condition that really laid her down. She had always been very physically intamate but after her heart problem all that ended. She had always known about my dressing and even encouraged my underdressing, but after her latest health issues she told me one day out of the blue that she finally understood all of the stress that I was under and that if dressing calmed me down and made me happy, so be it. I now come home from work and slip into pantyhose, skirts and blouses ect. and she has no issues. So I guess in my case, the wife's retirement allowed me to expand my crossdressing. At first I just thought she was tolerating it but now she is very supportive. She gives me advice on clothes and has even paid me compliments on my choices of style. She has even asked my why I don't select my male clothing in brighter colors like my feme clothing. When I do finally retire, I plan to spend even more time dressing the way I choose and taking care of my loving wife.
