A lot of people changed their Facebook profile photo yesterday to a photo of their mother in their honor on Mother's Day. I did too. Yesterday afternoon my wife came into the room and said "I never realized how much you look like your mother. It's almost like GOD put her head on your body". Since I'm still not 'out' yet, all I could do was smile and say thank you, then I went into the bathroom and cried tears of joy! Dang nabbed estrogen, makes me weepy and extremely sentimental.

Baby steps of HRT, no morning 'wood', losing upper arm strength, and softening of skin. Loving every minute of it!

Even without a photo of my late mother, everybody says I look like her. She was beautiful, and glamorous, so I take it as a compliment.
I found the weepy period ended at about six months. Before that I cried if I saw a puppy.

The whole time growing up I was told that I was the spitting image of my Dad and I could see it too. From the time I hit 40, it has been more like Mom. Sometimes it is the little things that make the difference.
