What's on your CD bucket list?

Mine are:

1) To have a makeover
2) To have a full body wax
3) To go shopping with a personal shopper
4) Have a 'girls' night out

Lose the full body wax (too many memories of that scene from '40 year old virgin'... Ouch!) and I'll take the others... :)

Add in:
- Go to a local support group
- Come out to my nearest and dearest... :eek:
- Do a big conference/ convention/ shindig in the UK and the USA
- Do Vegas!!!
And here's the weird one...
- Do Tokyo with some other girls... I have few fantasies, but I just love the idea of doing a bit of Katey in business attire, modest high heels - which would tip me nicely over 6' - and then travel the subway or monorail and absolutely KNOW that I'd be taller than about 98% of everyone else.... What an exhibitionist!! :o And karaoke, night club, Harajuku, sushi bar... And the Japanese are so respectful and polite.. :D

Being fairly new, my list includes some stuff that's probably old hat to many :)

Lose weight till I can look really nice in an LBD (tough one!)

well ... all the big milestones everyone mentioned are on my list too ... coming out, acceptance, makeovers, shopping etc.
But one big one that I'd really love to do at least once before I pass from this Earth: perform my music on stage in girl mode. Maybe with a band, or maybe just me and a guitar.

Not talking like, over the top Vegas drag show ... but you know ... I have some songs, and I think some of them are pretty good, and I wrote them in girl mode, and It'd be just so cool to perform them that way as well. Of course, they'll sound like a dude is singing them, but (hopefully) look like a girl is singing them.

Of course, I'm a million miles from there ... that's why they call it a "bucket list", LOL

I went shopping with a personal shopper at Macy's in downtown Philadelphia during some business travel in April. It was expensive, but she really knew her stuff. I got a nice floral dress with a white shrug, coordinated a skirt / top outfit in a blue theme, and found a pair of nude heels that fit perfectly. Her office is well hidden in the southwest corner of the second floor. I highly recommend the experience.

Oh Samantha you hit the nail on the head for me with going on a cruise. Having been on five cruises myself I can’t tell you how jealous I am when I see my wife and the other ladies all glammed up for the evenings. Wow all those gowns, dresses and jewellery does make me wish if only.

My wife and I wait in the bar on formal nights and we play a game where I give a score out of ten of how much I would like to try on some of the dresses and accessories.

Our last cruise was for 28 nights, how frustrated was I? Even more so when my wife dressed in one of my dresses for a semi formal night.

Hmm. This probably would be more a "if I won the lottery" kind of list anymore. And several might be beyond just CD.
Doubting that unless something changed drastically career-wise with my 30year job, I'd have a chance to do a lot.
Not really in order...

1: get voice more feminized.
2: Travel: Vegas (maybe Divas), West coast places, maybe Denver trip.. Don't ask why...always thought I'd love to get to a club where Nina Flowers plays.. :)
3: Cruise somewhere. Multiple times if possible :)
4: Trip to Japan (long time wanted to get there). And visit some of those interesting trap 'clubs' :)
5: Electrolysis facial, chest, at minimum. (and yeah..like that thread..including damn ear hairs.. :) )
6: Maybe facelift..getting rid of this bit of extra chin I've got. Maybe slimming the face just a touch.
7: I'd like more of a real set up top... not just forms. Whether thru hormones or enhancement surgeries.. probably dependent on the next...
8: Go thru therapies to figure out what my situation is. (Just CD or what) My paycheck and medical insurance probably doesn't really cover any ability to transition so..
9: wondering if some other hair replacement thing could be done. I've had too much of a receding hairline but would love to be able to use own hair instead of wig. If not...then more wigs! :)

I already do so much as Kacey anymore (benefit of single and all friends (and now even a coworker) supportive).
A lot of these are way beyond normal CD due to this.
But it's my wishlist.

Come to think of it...Adriana's Amsterdam trip doesn't sound too bad either.. )

For my, being on the pragmatic side, I have on my list some attainable goals.

- a gradual reduction of unwanted body hair that would not shock the wife;
- the opportunity to go out more as Sarah especially to be with with gurls;
- little details like improved make-up, voice, and perfecting my walk and mannerism;
- redo my wardrobe just for the sake of change;
- spend longer periods of time as Sarah;
- "tee-hee", well you will just have to read my mind ! :daydreaming:

I never had a bucket list. I tried to do the things that compelled me, and looking back, I did. Things like going out, then IN somewhere en femme, acquiring what I needed to achieve a certain look, etc. There will always be new things to buy, so that's a given, not a bucket list item. (Note to self: I still want a sissy dress. Get one.)
The one thing I wish I had done but didn't was to meet with like-minded CDers. Key word: like-minded
I dress MOSTLY for pleasure, as it sexually arouses me. I have no desire to engage sexually with other CDers who dress for pleasure, yet I want to have a friendship, a social experience, and good conversation with other LIKE-MINDED CDers. There seems to be a built-in conflict with these terms, so it remains undone and still on the list.

2. Maybe playing with friends while dressed (we swing)

3. Maybe driving around dressed or walking around some safe, mostly deserted place where I might get seen but probably won't (safe meaning safe enough, because, as mentioned in other posts, I'm still a guy and heels or not, I will still kick some a** if necessary)

4. Maybe popping out of the car for some dressed pictures in recognizable areas and then popping back in and speeding away, haha!

Yes Teresa the dress was only worn by my wife; I didn’t know she had it with her until she pulled it out one night. She thought I would like a little light hearted teasing, a case of “Look what I’m wearing”. Bless her. In 28 nights all I had was sleeping in some sexy undies to keep me going.

The great thing about a cruise is that if you sail away then you can take as much luggage as you wish that said, six cases between us, not sure we could get anymore clothes in the cabin for Lynn also.

Wouldn't it be fun if cruises had a topsy turvy fun evening during each cruise? I’m sure it would be well received by a lot of people. By topsy turvy I do mean Glam night for the males and dinner jackets for the ladies. I wonder how many new customers they would get if they promoted such an evening.

I am living my bucket list, and from the items mentioned have done or are doing most of them already. The full body wax is so important if yo re doing a multi-activity or several days in a row type of adventure. Does waxing hurt, you bet , but with a little pain comes beauty. Plucking your eye brows does not feel good but looks good when done. Getting you ears pierced hurts for a moment and then your wallet hurts form all of the dangling ear ring you can buy for pierced ears.
Ladies there is nothing you cannot do if you just step outside into the real world dressed as every other woman your age and size.

- Get laser hair removal done on my face (one of the ladies in my group is doing this and has had great results)
- Do a wedding dress photo shoot (I have the dress, it just needs to fit a little better...)
- Travel to California with an Amy wardrobe, so my mother can meet her daughter, my brothers can meet their big sister, and I can visit some of my friends out there
- Make proper use of my new swimdress (perhaps on that selfsame California trip?)
- Visit more trans* conferences in full femme
- Persuade my fiancee to let me do strapless occasionally (OK, this one may not be realistic :) )

I've always wanted to hang out with my girlfriend dressed, with other couples. (TGs with their SOs) in a private gathering. Like a closed event bar or hotel. I saw something like that on a talk show back in the 90s and I was like, wow. Thats awesome.It was a closed hotel where only TGs were allowed, so you had an entire building, complete with salon for make overs, bar and restaurant and your own room. You didn't have to leave or worry about the general public. I hadn't met my current lady back then, but I'd love to do a weekend type retreat like that where one doesn't have to worry about the mundane public viewing, while being in a public place.
The other thing is having my own home, completely secluded and private on 5+ acres in the forest, so I could freely be outdoors dressed.
