If the sex were removed from both Men and Women. If we had to wear masks to hid our faces. Had to wear clothing that did a great job at hiding if we are male or female. What would you be like then?
I have read so much lately trying to understand my "pink fog". Yet, the more I read of others, the more I can't stand our world and how horrible it is to people who want to just be happy.
So I say to you all.
You are YOU and you are beautiful for it. Physically you could be Male or Female, it does not matter.
It does not matter.
I accept you and I love you for who you are inside first and foremost. As for the outside, in time, it won't matter anyway.
As for Pass Nopass. You will always pass in my eyes, because it's my heart that will be making that decision. Not my eyes.
Love you all,
Vicki

I'd pretty much be who I am now. The presentation is just the icing on the cake.:battingeyelashes::)

To say, who would I be if there were no sex, (as in male or female) is like saying who would I be if I were someone else. It makes no sense. Actually its even weirder and more unfathonable than that! We would not even closely resemble human if there were no sexes. I guess what you really mean is who would I be if i were forced to wear clothing that hide my phisical features, I'd still be me.
A better question to ask yourself might be "who am I when I do everything in my power to present as female?"

Vicki - those are sweet sentiments about all of us, and I also like the way you ask a question (about the absenting of sexuality) and then discard it... :) So I'll discard it too, although I agree with April's comments that it would be difficult to do in reality as it is such a big part of us at certain stages of life...
What struck me for the first time reading your post (aside from the sweet sentiments) was your comment on 'Pass Nopass' and how judgemental that really is on all of us. Now, us human beans are rather judgemental in our approach to pretty much everything, but do we ever look at our own native gender and say "Yeah - he's OK as a guy, but he doesn't pass..."
And while GGs might consider how other GGs look physically and be judgemental on the basis of many criteria (I'm reminded here of Blondie's 'Rip Her to Shreds' - "She's so tall, well rip her to shreds..." :)) - hair, clothing, complexion, etc. I've never heard of any GG saying of another that they don't 'pass'. Clearly 'pass' doesn't mean really be a GG - because that's just not possible or real for most of us (I exclude the TS section here) - but darn it! That is the most damning phrase that we use here, because it is sooo subjective and hyper-judgemental. I think we should ban it - and even though some of us may be obsessed with the concept, it's the idea that there is a pass/nopass hurdle that could well be preventing some of us from being really happy and relaxed about who we are, rather than trying to attain something that we cannot be...
Great thoughts Vicki - and nice to have such an outpouring of unfettered affection so early in the day for us over here... :)
Thoughtful post...

What would I be???
I'd be bored to tears, that's what I would be!!
Sounds too much like George Orr got his dreams mixed with ours....
If you don't know George then research and watch the move "The Lathe of Heaven"

At first the OP seems like an inane, pointless question, but I do think lots of TGs sort of high-center on gender identity -- arrested development, so to speak. Even some (most?) who make the full transition seem to spend the rest of their lives obsessing about being TG, identifying as TG, advocating TG rights, yada yada. They never seem to quit drawing attention to the fact. I'm like, can we move on now? When I'm interacting with others, I don't mind them being curious or interested in me initially because I'm TG, but if the dynamic doesn't move past that at some point I'm prolly gonna get bored. Yes, I'm TG, but hello, there's a person inside here, k?

Hi Vicki, I would just be someone that likes to dress as a lady sometimes.
