I took a quick trip to CA to get away for a few days and I wanted to meet Simone and spend some time with her. Misty sat in traffic for hours to meet us in the city ~ she was determined! Misty is pretty cool and fun...I enjoyed meeting her and I wished we would have been able to do more. I was glad they both took time to spend with a shy quiet idaho girl and show her around the city a bit. ��

Friday night at this place, know it?? Saturday Simone gave me a grand tour of the city so we were all over the place - I got a years worth of exercise all in one day with walking up all those steep streets!

The woman lives 800 miles from SOMA for goodness sakes!

The corner is 22nd and Valencia. There's a chocolatier
and a cool bookstore a block away. Everything a girl needs ;-)

Thanks for the picture Arbon. One of my and Rachael Sloane's favorite watering holes and dining places, Garçon, with great staff and owners. Rachael and I were actually having a glass or two or three up near Japan town on Filmore at the Wine Jar and then dinner right around the corner. Too bad, or maybe better that, we did not run into each other. I will let Misty call that one! Valencia Street is a good place to walk during the day because they have a great mix of eclectic stores for 8 blocks, plus restaurants and bars and a lot of people out walking.
