Back to the future is one of my all-time favorite movies. I was thinking today, if I could go back to the future, what would I tell my past self. First all, I'd tell myself to practice applying eyeshadow, you're going to need it. Seriously, I would tell myself to be up front about my dressing. I would reveal myself to the people that are closest to me. I think my life would be a little bit different had I been honest when I was younger. Oh well!....Back to the future!!;)

Yea me too it's a fab film, a time machines would be so lovely though I wouldn't change anything about my self though things are mapped out for a reason I think, I wouldn't use it for personal gain, just go back and stop my daddy from smoking :(

With the 30 years lost..I'd make up a big book of info on transgenderism, CDing, some thread printouts from here, and just hand it over to my early self and say figure yourself out earlier. oh and tell myself to figure out some other career path/work too :)

I would never have gotten married. Easily the biggest mistake of my life.

Hi Farrah, I'm working on a Flux Capacitor in my workshop now.

I'd tell myself not to study so hard, drink and party hard, drop out of school at 16 and take up an apprentship as a plumber. That way I could retire at 48 like a mate from school with his three houses, million dollar bank account and no worries in the world.

Wouldn't going back in time and telling your past self something, cause a temporal paradox, which may cause good or bad things to happen and could destroy the universe? :) Which could mean this post may not exist now? It is a theoretical possibility. :) Even Doc Brown knew that when Biff got the sports Almanac. Just kidding now my head hurts.

Hell-o Farrah, Going back to inform yourself of your future life seems like a great idea, but it really isn't what this thread is about. To me, I see this as another way of questioning yourself "what if?".
I often find myself asking "what if". The movie, The Butterfly Effect, is good example, the tiniest of change can put you in a whole different place in life.
Much Love,
Kristyn
BTW, Blue, I have access to a slightly used DeLorean, with a little work I think it will roll again! let me know when that Flux Capacitor is up and running.

I would go to the future, get the pool numbers and the racing results and return and fill out the forms and place my bets....
Trouble is I have done that and couldn't find a pen and paper to write them down.
Damn memory is no good either. :)
More to the point I would want the rewind and retrospect functions so as I could go back and correct it after I had made some big reveal.
