Summer is here, so are tan lines.

Lovely day here. Yes it does happen occasionally! So this morning I dug out my summer dress, the one with little straps in a vee around the front and sat in the garden reading a magazine with a cool drink for an hour or so. No sun cream.

But soon it was time to put the dress away. As I changed I looked in the mirror and there it was a neat white vee from my neck to my boobs and a straight line across them. Red above, white below. Oh dear!

It's still there this evening, if anything it's worse.

Lesson learned again.... Now I'll have to hid it away until the red fades.

I want a girly tan line!!! That would be a total giveaway though if I run around shirtless ;) Thing wise, I could get away with it but thongs are difficult to wear with the male anatomy in the way... I find it difficult to tuck with a thong on :(

I had asked my wife to get me a bikini once, she said if I get it you're going to wear it like it was a dare. So I told her sure thing. So she shows up later with an Ocean Pacific black string bikini, going this should fit you go put it on and I will help you if you want. I guess she was thinking I wouldn't put it on. So she follows me back to our room where I strip off my clothes and start to put it on. I did need help getting the strings tied right so that they were even, though once we were done she tells me that I need to shave the hair off my chest if I am going to wear that out in public. That is when I started to get cold feet... But she gets the dog clippers and takes me out to the back porch and begins clipping the hair off my chest. Hairless she shows me how to put the top back on and tells me much better.

Two days later she is holding out the bikini out to me and says we're going to the beach, you wanted the bikini I purchased it so now you'll wear it. I was very scared and nervous at the same time but I put it on under my shorts and t-shirt and we went to the beach. I totally chickened out once we got there and even my wife was having reservations about me going through with it. Laying on the warm sand and after a few beers I got sleepy and laid down, however when I woke up I wasn't wearing my shorts or t-shirt and I found my wife putting tanning lotion on me. The tan lines lasted a very long time even after going back to the beach without my bikini on and just going topless. Looking back it was a lot of fun and the only person that laughed at me was me...

This is a funny forum to see.
I have talked with my girlfriend about this. She totally supports me wearing a bikini and having girl tan lines.
It thrills me to no end to do it. I really want triangle bikini top tan lines but it would be kind of scary to do because they can stay around
for so long, like one of the other girls described. If "something happened" and I had to bare my chest it might be embarrassing.
But you know what I mean when I say it would be exciting too :)
A few years ago while on vacation in the Florida keys I wore nice small bikini bottoms while we were at a fairly secluded part of the beach.
I could be seen but we were not right next to people. It was totally thrilling girls!! :)
The next step for me is to wear the nice triangle top and get those sexy tan lines.

For me, I think "Summer is here, so I better watch out I don't get a "farmers' tan" ... I don't typically spend much time in the sun but living in the central valley of California means that I do have it all around me in my everyday (boy) life and so inevitably I have watch out that my lower arms don't get noticeably darker than my upper arms .. which in reality means that I have to put self tan on my shoulders and upper arms :(

Being a redhead I tend to just burn instead of tanning. I do have a framers tan sort-of more an increase of freckles on my lower arms then the rest of the skin that is sun kissed. Then you have the pale skin where the sun don't shine. This year I have been trying to use sunscreen to even things out.

What a coincidence that this thread was written! Wednesday morning I arrived home after a night shift, had a few drinks, then sat outside on my patio. The weather was perfect. I decided to put on a bra with forms, a pearl necklace, my wig, a little makeup and a nylon robe. I daringly paraded around the yard for a few minutes (privacy fence) then laid down on a chaise lounge in the shade of trees. I felt a little risqué, so I unbuttoned the top buttons to expose my bra in the sunlight and opened the bottom to expose my panties and shaved legs. Then I started reading and promptly fell asleep! Hours later I woke up in the sun with a major sunburn on my legs, but more importantly where my bra was there are stark bra lines where the cups were, no strap lines at least, and where my breasts shaded my belly there are stark semi-circles! Not only is it a horrible burn, but I must hide from the world for quite a while, yet it's summer time!

My wife asked why there were such funny lines on my chest and belly and I just told her it was the way my shirt was open. She knows I dress, but it's a DADT relationship. I also have a clear white line where the necklace was! I'm sure she didn't believe me, but we both wanted to avoid conflict. So, not being an open crossdresser, I must be careful not to show my top for quite a while. Normally, I change into a uniform at work in a locker room, but now I'll have to wear a T-shirt at all times. What a silly mistake! Live and learn, I guess.

I admire you other ladies that can wear a bikini, get tan lines and not worry about it!
