So I had my follow up at the VA today after 2 months on HRT. They are doubling my prescription and suggested I could now start going about as a woman.

I am happy about this. I do have to back in September so they can check again. They said I should adapt a female name but that there was no rush. Cool. I have had one in mind but I have been putting it off. Also, I think I need a wardrobe change because my female attire consists mostly of 3 dresses, a tank top and a formal skirt and a pair of flats. Everything else is men's clothing. I need to go out and get more clothes that reflect the real me. I am looking forward to this.

I wanted to wear my dress to a trans meeting the other day but ended wearing my guy clothes because the pantyhose I wear with it, developed a tear in it.

I also noted some interesting effects: for example prior to HRT I was either constipated or runny and somehow their prescription has caused me to be more regular.

For some reason my diet has changed from McDonalds and TV dinners to salads and I seem to be more organized.

My nipples are sore with a hard budding under them. I assume this is the breast bud? At the moment they fit a size 34A quite easily. This shows when I wear women's clothes but in guy's clothes you can't see it.

They talked about development in the thigh area but I have not noticed but then I usually don't pay much attention there. What should I be looking for in that area?

Any suggestions on which I should start asking people to use my female name?
