I've been in a slump for the past 3 or so weeks with no dressing at all. Some of it has been busy and some the blahs. I dressed without makeup 2 nights ago and the feeling is back tonight. I've done it all and I'm feeling great, I feel like there is hope of me being passable and it's a wonderful feeling!. My only problem is my beard showing through a little even with the 5o'clock sharpe from the Nye guy. I don't know what to say other than it feels good to feel good, I never noticed what an emotional vacuum I've been in. I'm not feeling the pink fog at all there's no dreamy fa-la-la everything girly is awesome, just some feeling right and feeling good.

I just want to throw it out there for the people who understand.

Thanks for being who you are, and reading rambley posts

I can understand. The swing you are talking about seems to be experienced by most of the people I have talked with over the years. I know that the conditions and environment of everyday life makes all the difference in the world. Not even GG's want to dress-up everyday, there may be exceptions but I have not found one. The seasonal change affects my own desires and needs. For instance the bad heat and humidity here has made the thought of wearing makeup or good/nice outfit a chore instead of joyful labor. I still will bite the bullet and indulge but it will not be as frequent as fall winter or even spring. This is not to even start on other influences like over worked or ailments. You are not alone with these swings in motivation and desire.

I go through these "swings" all the time. In fact I usually grow all my body hair back in the summer and then schedule all my appointments with doctors skin specialists etc when I'm hairy. September first I proclaim "Dressing Season" and then I'm fully committed. Actually I've just decided to tell my GP that I am CD.

Kelly sometimes the slump carries over into your CDing, you know you have the need and if you make the effort the slump tends to go away !
Looking good is not always necessary just that feeling dressing gives you while enjoying a beer is enough of a pick me up !

Hi Kelly, A day without dressing is like a day without sunshine.
