Ok so today was my first laser appoint and this is my mandatory omg did that sting post!! I will say that I have read all the posts and comments on what it will feel like or not feel like. I will also say all that reading was worthless!!! LOL.!! I admit it hurt and I only made her give me a sec a few times but the chin and upper lip will make you think twice. The good thing is that I used the before cream with plastic wrap... got a pic to prove it but no way am I posting that dreadful thing!! ... if the cream only helped a little it was worth it. I told the wife that it felt like getting hit with a super rubber band over and over. The good thing though is the pain ended almost immediately and the kind of soreness lasted only 10 min. So I finally have be gone my trip I may not be public but I am still doing it one step at a time...

Btw I can't stop smiling all afternoon. It feels good to do something for me but damn for 45 mins it sucked..HAHA!!

I found that once I knew what I was up against, it wasn't so bad. The first session I took a couple of Tylenol w/ codeine. After that I got used to it. Luckily, the results are SOOO worth it.

Welcome to the club of those who have been there!

Remember, the numbing cream isn't to lessen the discomfort, it's to allow higher, more effective, settings! :)

The results are worth it. Eye on the prize!

Only wish I had gotten around to it before it was mostly gray but it has gotten rid of all the dark ones that were left.

Welcome to the club. I prepared for the worst so when I felt the pain it wasn't so bad, but yes it can be painful - especially the upper lip and the chin. But the reward is worth it. Within two weeks of mine I hardly have any hair left, except for some on the chin and upper lip, and even when I shave it it comes off nicely. I have completed only one laser session and posted about it a couple of weeks ago, and I am looking forward to more sessions and having the beard gone completely.

You just wait until they turn it up to mega destroy. :)

Just think, in three years or so you might actually be somewhat closer to almost being kinda done with hair removal! (But not really because it never really ends )

Never got to do laser, but just wait until you get to the point of switching to electrolysis! What fun!

147hrs and counting.

The first steps are the most painful and that is usually true with Laser. As it thins, the pain goes down. And don't lose that smile!
