a pink tip

I wanted some pink tights to go with my new skirt, and since I don't exactly have a ballet store close by, I had to get creative. I bought some dye, (RIT rose pink) and some ladies' light white tights at Kmart, and, well, I was so thrilled with the results that I just had to share my tip.

You do have to follow the mixing directions carefully though, to avoid splotchy color!

Another tip (not to steal your spot but it works for one night only.) buy some red acrylic artists paint from an art shop and put a tiny bit in warm water and mix in with clothes etc. Everything goes pink!


But for a permanent look .....what she said. :D

I have been having so much fun with this, I now have a pink pair, a lavender pair, a yellow pair, and a blue pair of hands! Eek! How am I going to explain why my hands are blue. Maybe I should have worn rubber gloves.

Great thinking! Here is another tip... wear some fishnets over your coloured tights for some funky new designs!
