July 4th and TerriAnn was invited to a party

Friends of ours invited Patti and I to a pool party on the 4th. Many folks would be there who knew nothing of TerriAnn the Tg. No worries right...lol This was an overnight stay and our friends made it clear that not only was I invited, but they hoped that I would have a great time as my true self. I did! In fact, I the only one with a two piece bathing suit...lol Had to drive over 100 miles just to get there. No hate, everyone very supportive, one of the most fulfilling days I've had. Normally I dress a bit ****ty I've been told, so had to tone to down to an age and outing appropriate outfit. Here's a pic.

Sounds like a good time. I think sometimes we think things will be bad and they turn out good such as every one being supportive. Sometimes even if the folks aren't supportive they at least have enough manners to be courteous.
