I had the talk with mom

Yesterday was the day and I'm still in shock that it happened. I can't begin to describe the live and support she had. By the end neither of us were crying and able to laugh and joke like normal. It was unbelievable to see her start making connections from our past like why we've always been like best friends and are so similar. She was relieved that I didn't have cancer (I have gotten really thin over the last few months).

Thankfully my family is very small and after mom I just have my two brothers to talk to.

I'm sure that's a huge relief. It's great to have parental support. Good luck with your siblings. Perhaps mom can help with the introductions.

It is good that you came out to your mom, as mom's have a way of knowing anyway.

Congrats, i just did that with my mother a couple months ago and then my sister after that. I think my mother is still in the mourning period, cries everytime i try to talk to her about it.

Having that talk with my mom was one of the toughest things that I did. She has become my strongest support though.
