What is going on with this?

After all those years of struggling to accept my crossdressing, why is it that there are days when I just don't want to bother?

There are many people in my life who seem to pull me further into being in "male mode". If I revealed my secret I would lose some friends for sure, and even some respect.

And then it gets super hot in the summer and I am just "not in the mood" to deal with my dresses and wigs.

And then I wonder what the %$#* am I doing with this, I don't need this anymore!

This confusion is very confusing to me.

If I fought so hard for it, shouldn't I always want to do it?

The short answer is no. If you feel like it do it and have fun, but you are not obligated to dress...

Being happy being yourself is the key, no matter what the presentation. :)

Taylor the pink fog hit me hard early in the year and I went crazy with my dressing and buying.
Then I had some SO issues documented in another thread and so yep I purged
Well it's back, the desire that is but this time Im really working on balance and not to let this run me.
It's not easy but I need to.
So yes we all deal with the ups and downs of this for sure

No! You shouldn't always want to do it. Won't be special if you do it all the time.
Relax, enjoy the moment, whichever one it is. Accept every side of you, rejoice that you just feel like being your guy self today, and tomorrow if you feel like being pretty, rejoice in that too.
Confusing this crossdressing is.

Trust me. The urge will come back, just as sure as the sun comes up in the morning. No one knows why. It may just be the normal ebb and flow of hormones, or various distractions, stress, illness, etc. But it always comes back.

If you feel like it, do it. If you don't, don't.

BUT a short skirt and a slinky top is a very cool outfit. In more ways than one.
