View Full Version : Las Vegas outing

I've had lots of en femme outings, mostly shopping, but most of them have been too short. Last week I had to go on a business trip to Las Vegas, and I thought I would use the opportunity for a couple of extended outings. I was pretty busy most of the week, but I had Tuesday and Thursday completely free. Tuesday morning I got up early and dressed en femme with light makeup. I started at the Monte Carlo casino. I don't gamble, but I have an engineering background, and had fun looking at the gambling machines. Then I went over to the New York casino, and the Hershey Chocolate store. I had fun chatting with the clerks, but I didn't get anything. I adore chocolate, but I can feel myself getting fatter with each bite. I went across the strip and toured the souvenir shops on the other side. I bought some dice to play games with the grand kids and got a coke at the coke museum. I window shopped my way down to Planet Hollywood, stopping at a drug store for a box of cookies to munch on. Then I toured the Miracle Mile shopping center. I saw some great outfits, most of them several sizes too small, and cut for women much younger than me. A young woman tried to lure me into the beauty salon with an offer of free products, but I wasn't in the mood, and I headed back out to the strip. I walked back down to the Excaliber and took the shuttle to Mandelay Bay. Here I stopped at the cigar store and bought a couple cigars. This is getting long, so I'll continue in the next post.

After checking out the gourmet restaurants at Mandelay Bay, Luxor and Excalibur I decided to head back to the New York casino for a hot pastrami sandwich. I like gourmet meals once in a while, but mostly I prefer simpler fare. I also stopped in the ladies room for a pit stop. I've always been hesitant about this in Texas, but here, everyone just treated me like a lady, so it seemed the natural thing to do. By this time, the heat and the walking were getting the best of me, so I headed back to my hotel to rest. I was resting, smoking one of the cigars I'd bought earlier when the maid came in to make up the room. There were both male and female items sitting in obvious places, but she treated me like a lady without batting an eye. (The tip helped.) We chatted all while she was working.

I really wanted to go out some more, but I was super tired, so I opted for a light supper in the hotel, and an early bed time.

Thursday morning I slept in and ate breakfast in the hotel. Then I headed out en femme for more touring. I got some lolly pops for the grand kids at a tourist shop, and some m&m's at the m&m's store. Then I drove out to the Las Vegas outlet mall for some serious shopping. By the time I got there, the place was packed. I wandered around looking at more cute-but-too-small outfits, and finally ended up at Dress Barn. I found a dress that I'd seen at a Dress Barn in Texas and I was hoping that I could get it at a discount price -- this being and outlet mall. No such luck, but I bought it anyway. I was going to try it on, but there was a long line for the dressing rooms, and I just didn't want to wait. (It fit just fine, by the way.) in the way out, a young lady offered me a free packet of some beauty product -- I forget what, and then offered to let me try some other product that she swore would make me look much younger. I was really tempted, but I ultimately decided against it. Maybe next time. Again I was really exhausted and hot, so I headed back to the hotel to rest. I had another nice chat with the maid, and she told me I was a really nice person. After another light supper in the hotel, it was time for Project Runway. So I ended the evening watching the opening episode of season 13. (Can you believe the dress that won the challenge? Yuck!)

The two days taken together were fabulous. Everyone treated me like a lady. Everyone called me ma'am. I love interacting with people as a woman, and I can't wait for my next outing back in Texas.

Sounds like you had a great time! That's a Davidoff store at the Mandalay Bay, right? I've bought smokes there - love cigars, but only as the guy me ;)

Awesome story! So glad you enjoyed your stay in my adopted home town. I've found Las Vegas to be exceptionally friendly, and not just at the typical cross dressing locations. The only drawback for us is the summer heat, but at least we don't have to deal with humidity.

Cynthia, thank you. I've wondered whether Las Vegas was CD friendly as a whole, or only in the casinos. Now I know that when I finally get there I'll be able to go where I wanna go and do what I wanna do . . . .

Hi Cynthia,

What a great trip! So glad you shared it with us. Yes, the feeling of being treated and maybe accepted as a woman -- whether or not we are read -- is wonderful. Interacting with people as a woman becomes more and more natural (at least it has for me -- do you find the same?)

Glad the dress fits!

I love Las Vegas. We usually stay at the Monte Carlo. Wish I could do it en femme but we travel with
a large group of our family. Have fun!!!
