It seems that I haven't been out as much lately. I decided that this past Sunday would be a good Nikki day. Got up early got dressed in a nice dress and heels and my new wig. Even the makeup went on pretty well.
I went to church, had a nice conversation with many of the members, unfortunately some of the girls that I usually go to brunch with didn't show that day and I wasn't in the mood to go by myself. On the way back home I stopped at a Payless and found a nice comfortable pair of wedge pumps that went very nice with my dress for only $9.
I called a friend to stop by her store on the way home (a vendor's market), but the vendor who was working with her that day is not the most open minded (we had had a conversation a few weeks before, I was in drab and that's how he knows me, and he made it quite clear that he is very anti CD). So we both decided not to open any cans of worms in that I also work there on some Sundays. Some of the other vendors do know Nikki (one sold me my new wig) and they're cool.
Anyway, not really willing to cut my day short, I went and visited some other friends at their house. I even spent time in their driveway helping her husband and father-in law troubleshoot a problem he had with a car they just bought ( I don't recommend wearing heels on a gravel driveway, but what the heck). Later on her mother-in law ended up giving me two bras that were too small for her.
Over all a very nice relaxing day although It was a bit of a bummer having to go back to drab. Everywhere I went (and I did make a few other stops) no problems, and it all just felt so normal.

Nikki thank you for sharing your Sunday adventures with us!
It reads like a normal day for many GG's...including the mechanical work.

Very inspiring!

We all make dressing mistakes when going out.
Maybe flats next time.
