I came out to a friend tonight...

Just as the title states I went for it. Hopefully it's okay to attach a picture here, it's not of me but the conversation so I don't have to type it all. So mods: I hope it's alright! I can't believe how well it went. I'm truly blown away and I can't stop crying. It's definitely one of the best moments I've had my entire life.

LelaK, it's a female friend :). And I imagine she said it's awesome because she's awesome lol. She's always been a very open minded person and accepting of people of all sorts.

Congratulations! You are blessed with a good friend there. I wish I had the guts to come out to one of my best friends who is gay and living with his partner. In addition to not having the courage myself, my wife would hate that I would come out to anyone though.

My friend came out to me about his homosexuality when I asked him to be the godfather of my daughter. My daughter is blessed to have such great godfather!
