Been pondering this after reading many many posts of fear and being scared.
If it were a perfect CD land where all and any form of CD was totally accepting by the whole entire world including the SO would you still feel scared, afraid, ashamed, get butterflies, cry, and more? Would you still have a guy mode at all?

Yes, because I am a guy and like it. I just like to crossdress occasionally. I probably would crossdress more often. I know this because when I was single living alone and could dress as much as I wanted, I dressed only 3-4 times a week. Now, that seems like a lot , considering life's changes upon me (wife, child...).
As for any and all forms of crossdressing being accepted by the entire world, we should start here, where many think there is a right and wrong way to crossdress.

I'd probably drop the guy mode altogether.

I would dress more often and experience a lot more!

A Cd land free of hangups could be interesting I think you'd probably get more of the guy in the dress look ! I think more guys than the statistics suggest would just stick on a dress and come out ! It may be interesting what the female population would wear, whether they'd try and compete or not ?
OK it's only hypothetical but I could see it becoming a crazy world ! Sometimes the reality we live in is a natural working balance of give and take ! What we have now as CDers is as good as it gets ! The therapists won't be out of a job after all !
I would probably take the pretty route !

I would go out sometimes... maybe. After dark, and in a group and a little tipsy.

I wouldn't go out the door in guy mode ever again.

Considering how much I loves dresses and skirts it would be bye bye guy clothes.

I would still go out in "guy mode" as it is part of who I am as much as Isha is. Since I get out as often as I need as Isha, I doubt my CDing would increase but I might try to experience some venues I have not to date.

I would definitely get out more... as in: I'd get out! :cheer:
So things would increase on the CD side - but I'd still spend the majority of my time 'en homme' - but boy, would the CD side be more fun... :D

I would wear whatever was appropriate for the occasion.

No guy mode again. Ever.
I'd still be mostly in guy mode, but the girl would be out and about more.

I'd still have a guy mode, because I am a guy. I'd dress more often... but I am so totally consumed with my job nowadays I wouldn't have time to dress more often anyway.

Would still be a guy most of the time...I'd probably join Katey in venturing out as Renee more often :).

I agree with Renee...would still be masc the majority of the time, but would love a world where I'd be free to be Bridgette at any time or event...

For sure would have a guy mode, but when the desire hit me if there was no issues or fear I would go out dressed as I please without a doubt

If we were totally accepted I may crossdress less, or may even stop altogether. A good part of the appeal for me is the risk of getting caught, and the public's confusion about me. I get an adrenaline rush from crossdressing.

GG live in that world now. They dress in jeans and a t shirt most of the time, and dress to the nines on occasion when the mood strikes them. I would never want to lose my male side, it has a lot of benefits too. I just would like the freedom to be who I want for each day without persecution.

I agree with Jenny. That would be the perfect solution

Perfect CD land? I'm ALWAYS in guy mode regardless of what I am wearing... because I choose to wear what I want. And for the record, JD Public already accepts just fine as long as you treat and interact with them decently. And trying to "pass" as a female has nothing to do with it as many others here attest to weekly.
I like being a guy and have no desire to be/act like/present as a female for any length of time. There are plenty of others that water here of similar attitude but they tend to be lurkers.

I wouldn't. If I could, I would swap out my bull moose self for a little thing. Yah, I'd miss things, but I'd feel more at home.

Scared, afraid, ashamed? If i could be totally open I don't think those feelings would exist.
I would definitely still have a guy mode though. But I'm really unsure about the split, going on how I've been feeling lately, girl mode might be in the majority.

That's what I'm looking for the plenty who water here and lurk, let's hear from you if you exist please it's an open forum.
Dale Earnhardt needed Rusty Wallace and Auburn needs Alabama so where are you?

Yes I would still have a male side because I like that side of myself but I would also enjoy my female side more often. I would enjoy being able to dress and present myself the way I want when I want, whether it be male or female.

Way too much hypothetical here to really know. But it's likely I'd get out a lot, make that a Whole Lot more often as Sarah in that world you propose. But there are things I do that would probably be better in guy mode, like most of the heavy yard work and some of my camping. Times like those would make a wig or long hair and makeup a real problem for me, so I'd dress for the occasion, or at least try.
Let me know when you find this place, I'll be right over.
