you're the only CD in your city?
everyone you know found you out?
"homophobes" are on to you?
all the CDs and TGs coming out are fake?
your life is virtual reality?
you no longer like to CD?
your pets don't like CDs?

What else?

(This is a dirty job, but someone doesn't have to do it.)

That many of the people on this forum are actually college students using fake identities who are using it to lure unsuspecting crossdressers into opening up to them for research purposes, and in order to gather information and data for their term papers on human sexuality etc. as my wife frequently suggests - especially when she is having a bad day coming to terms with my crossdressing and is trying to shame me into stopping (as if...).

Her other pet theory is that said alleged college students might even just be trolls who are stringing us along when engaging us in conversations, and are then having a hearty laugh at our expense.

No, my wife is not typically a conspiracy theorist, but sometimes this "head-in-the-sand" type of denial seems to get her through the day.

I've patiently tried to explain to her that the types of discussions held here, the subjects raised, the raw emotions bared, the fears expressed, the strained relationships with wives and SO's agonized over, and the incredible commonality of our shared experiences require a really intimate knowledge of what crossdressing/transgenderism is all about. In short, it can only be portrayed as accurately as it is here by someone who actually is a crossdresser and has experienced this gender dysphoria first hand.

Like the person who famously said that they can't really define pornography, but they know it when they see it, we don't understand our need to crossdress either and have a hard time explaining it to someone else, let alone to ourselves. We just know that it is, and that this innate feeling - like some secret society's "special handshake" is what binds us together here.

Unlike my wife, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that 99.9999% of the participants here are the real deal, and that any troll who tries to invade our space is quickly "outed" and summarily sent packing as we close ranks to protect our safe haven here.

Judgement Night 2 Night of the TG- You go along with a group of friends all dressed to the nines to a party down town. One of the friends borrowed an RV and on our way to the party we accidentally run over some poor guy, a gang who is after him soon turns there attention to us. So yep, nothing like trying to escape a group of gang bangers, going through a sewer, in your finest dress, Wolfords, very expensive heels, trying to keep your wig on, having your make-up smear everywhere, and all while trying to maintain a tuck, femme voice etc. All because the gang bangers do not know your actually a GM, which will really infuriate them even more if they catch you. Scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst I could think of...

I carefully arrange for my wife to be away with relatives for a few days so that I can have a first but surreptitious outing to a local support group...

On my return home, as I enter a darkened and quiet home, having avoided all the neighbours' twitching curtains, I find that my wife thinks I have been so kind to her, and taken so much care with arranging her time with relatives, that as I stand in the hallway and take a deep breath at the relief of my first outing having gone so well - all the lights come on and I am greeted by her, my relatives, friends and neighbours who have agreed to my wife's idea of a surprise party... Surprise for who...? :eek:

That may give me a nightmare tonight...

For me, having a family member and the homophobes know about me are the same thing. :/ I have a hard time choosing because they are all terrible. I think what would be worse would be having to try to deal with these feelings alone.

That and payless closing would probably be the worst-case scenarios. :P

Having my wife come home from work and finding me dead on the floor from a heart attack.......all dressed up in a pretty dress, heels, undergarments, hosiery, wig and makeup. My wife would be striping off my clothes and removing my makeup before the coroner arrives. Could be somewhat of a black comedy for a non accepting wife trying to hide our secret until the end. Her sitting there crying with a bottle of nail polish remover working on my dead hands. I wonder if you get to knock on the Pearly Gates in your last attire????
