Another high heel thread (sheesh)

speaking through the haze of my addiction do You all prefer single sole non-platform heels or platform. The picture below is the pair i am coveting now. i do have a pair of platforms but only wear them when playing at Hollywood and Vine

Heck, any high heel looks go to me. Just wish i could wear them more often, but due to my arthritis and recent surgeries, my heel wearing days are numbered. The red ones look heavenly.

I dont like huge platform heels, I much more prefer like the red ones in the picture or sandals with at least a 4.5" heel ... but I would wear any type of heel as long as it is sexy!

Oh yeah. I feel I'm tall enough at a full 6' with heels, so I've never tried platforms. That's not to say I never will.

I love my five inch heels more than any other it just makes my legs look better I've tried a pair of 6 inch heels and I couldn't even walk those red heels in your pic are very hot!!! ERIKA1963:o

I just love the red heels in your pix. I am a big fan of heels the higher the beter I always say.
Red is my favorite color. I have one pair of 6 inch and one at almost 7. I may be extra tall but do I ever feel sexy. Heels just trip my trigger

No platforms for me, thank you. I'm just not 20 years old anymore, I guess. They're just too over-the-top for me. I like a regular high heel, sensible and pretty, a shoe that any woman would wear. I'm guessing platforms would draw a lot of attention to them, anyway.

First of I love the red shoes!

I've tried both non-platform and platform shoes. And I'd have to go with the non-platform shoes. Not just because i stand a staggering 6'2" in flats but I find I pass better with the non-platform.... and i don't feel like I'm on stilts

Those red heels are gorgeous! Very nice heels. Red is a great color too, but they would look wonderful in any color... I'm not one for platform shoes...but I do enjoy high heels...have several pair and love all of them...:bs:

I prefer platforms actually, the higher the better. Of course, I'm only 5'8" so I guess I can get away with a bit more before my head collides with the ceiling. Right now, all I really own is my sister's old 3" throw-aways, from browsing sites like snaz75, I think I'm falling in favor of 6 inch platforms as 'the perfect shoe' although I have my eyes on a pair of 8 1/2 inchers there too.

I have never tried platforms but I'd love to give them a walk. Those red high heels are my thing, they look fabulous, and I can imagine how sexy they would feel on my feet, and as I'm only 5' 7" they would give me some extra height.

For me it depends on the outfit ,or the mood but I do prefer platforms ,because the ball of my foot hurts in non platform ,and balance as well is an issue but I do like non platforms dont get me wrong . I own 2 in through 7 in ,and I,m 6 ft tall .

Im lucky Im 5.5 so for me 5and 6" heels work but i wear alot of mule type plattforms with stilleto heels my foot is on the wider side so pumps are out of the question for me

the shoes in the picture come from Pierre Silber on the net. They will be in a size 11 and have a 6 inch heel. the other thing that i forgot to mention i have a pair of small padlocks that will fit through the ankle strap portion of the shoe to add that finishing touch. they should be here by Wednesday this week Can't wait

I don't even like the looks of platforms, but high heels have been a sex symbol for ages. I remember when I was a young boy ( and that was some time ago) I thought they made a woman look so well dressed.:D Being 5' 10", if I put on heels that are too tall I am amoung the 5% tallest women in the world. That makes you stand out very quickly and I don't like drawing unnecessary attention to myself. My highest heels are 4" white stilletoes and you assortment goes all the way down to 1.5" almost flats. There are pumps and slingbacks and even a pair of boots. Most are in the 2" to 2.75" range. When I'm shopping, I wear flats, tennis shoes, or other low heeled shoes. ;)

I like almost any kind of high heel. They make me feel so girly and in an interesting way --- relaxed. The click click when I walk is entrancing. I also think that heels make anyones legs look good.

I generally really don't like platforms, but love other heels. That said, I think platform boots are pretty cool, even if they are a bit out there :)
