Validation, from a teen girl even

As background information, I have made up business cards with my contact information and (profile) picture and I hand them out to new people I meet.

I was out last night with about 30 of my closest girl friends, one of whom was an SO whom I've met a couple of times before who has one of my business cards. She told me that her 13 yo daughter saw my business card and made some remark about the picture.

SO: You know that's really a guy, don't you?
13 yo: No way!
SO: Way.

I'm wondering if this is FOR a business or just cards you had made up with your contact info on them? If for a business,did you print them up yourself and do you do business en femme? I had contact cards too for new friends I met at Renaissance meetings and when I went to the club but these cards just had a pic of a rose and my femme name address and phone number. U still carry a few around but nowadays most people at the club know me.:)

Kate. These are cards that I made up with my contact info, and my picture instead of a rose. One year, I made up a couple of sheets on my home printer, the the business card stock kept jamming the printer or otherwise printing badly. After that experience, I just took a "fearless" pill and took a word .docx file to Office Depot and had them print them up. It was way worth it, and if they had a laugh about it, so what.

But, from the votes here, it sounds like here, the guys at the office depot copy shop probably just wanted to meet that "hot chick". ha ha
