Do you think our pics is the gallery are used for?

I was looking through the gallery admiring the makeup and trying to get dressing/posing ideas. I and we, look at these images as admirers but do you think they are used for fetish? Do you fear your pic will end up being used on another site to satisfy someone's fetish fantasy? If you're straight, how would that make you feel if other guys were getting excited over your pictures?

Yeah I've thought about that. I'm sure it happens all the time. I'm not saying with mine necessarily but in general. Just look at the stats of any particular thread. There may be 20 replies and a thousand views. Yes I realize the other 980 viewers aren't going to add their oohs and aahs but still that's a lot with nothing to say.
As a straight guy it doesn't bother me at all. I guess its kind of a validation. But then again how would we ever know if someone was using our pics for self gratification?

I do not know if they have enhanced the security here or not. But about 2-3 years ago I found pictures of one of our attractive members here who used to do semi-professional photo shoots and actually some professional ones for an on line CD clothing and accessory store on Criagslist advertising for hook ups. She let me know that they must have copied them for their own personal use. I also found another member's picture in the same area after that. So, if you are very concerned then you need to do what is necessary to protect yourself and make yourself feel better.

Personally, when I post pictures here I accept that anything could happen to them, and I post anyway. What someone else gets off on is their thing and not my problem because I have no control over that.

My two cents: I couldn't care less. If someone -- anyone, regardless of gender -- uses them for enjoyment, I'm fine with that. Not crazy about commercial uses, but like Allie says, caveat emptor.

Well, a lot of us are really pretty, but i don't worry about that
myself....(i don't have much anyway)

There's far too much that's available, So much easier, from
girls who are looking for those "admirers". I can't see our
very tame stuff being of much use for anyone's fantasies.

Of course there are people who'd get a charge out of any
thing they see, but i wouldn't personally worry about it.

I tried most every other site I could find in the past year
and I feel like here is the safest place there is to post pictures
of ourselves.

Now i just need to make something *worth* posting...lol!

I am no software geek but I bet there is software available that would enable you to isolate the info in a pic you have posted and then search the web for any location where it exists. Anyone know of such software?

For me it does not bother me if people enjoy my photos and would give me a boost of confidence if I ever even found out about it. I don't like the idea of them being used for commercial use or to miss represent me as someone else. I think for the most part we are safe from that hear. There are easier places to get photos for them to get that. To find images online you could always use Google image search to look for your photos, but then you have to upload them to Google and I think that would be a bigger risk then posting here.

I am not big on posting pics, but it has nothing to do with fears about what anyone might attempt. Sure the images can be copied in one manner or another, but the likelihood is that they are not. There is an abundance of free, explicit trash out ther to feed the appetites of the people you are worrying about.

Bear in mind the Admins have set this up so you can't see the photo section, anyone else's, or even your own profile before you get in 10 posts. I just went through this process, and it's not easy to get in 10 sincere posts, unless you are really interested.
I think it affords a nice layer of protection, and like others have said if CD pics is your thing, boy are there plenty of other places to go. I saw one forum that was just trashy.. not my thing but it's still a free internet.

Exactly what everyone has said! Why the fear? Anyone recognizing you would have to explain why they were looking for you in the first place, And then end up at a CD site.
How good is Google Images anyway? Has anyone tried it with boy mode vs girl mode?
In my mind I look so differently, I think that no one would recognize me. Even my SO didn't recognize my avatar! So if someone did say "I google imaged you and a pic of a girl in a dress came up". "What are you talking about" is always available!

I have had people message me to tell me explicitly what they've done while looking at my photos.. sometimes even sending me photos of their handy work. (I'll leave it at that.. :p)

And yeah, I don't really get bothered by these things.. as far as I'm concerned, it's harmless.. just don't send me photos!

What I am worried about though is people using my pics for more malicious intent. I've heard from a few Indian friends that my older unmarked pics are being used on a few dating sites. I hate to think what could happen if someone actually agrees to go on a date with such an impersonator. :worried:

You can't control what others do, only control what YOU do.

I put my trash out to the curb every week, I have no choice if the 'can guy' comes along or not.

You can't limit yourself based on what someone *might* do. So you/we share pics. GG's get all kinds of unwelcome attention all the time, don't they?

Well it is always a risk we take posting our pictures here. But there is a layer of security at least. I have not problem with someone enjoying my pictures, am rather flattered if they do, but would rather it be done in the context of this site. And I am a big voyeur and love seeing all the beautiful girls here. I love seeing how you put together outfits, love the pictures of girls out and about. So I am guilty as charged.

I guess I must have passed or they have bad eyesight.
One pic was from a ladies clothing site in a thread about body shapes and what jeans to wear if you have a pear shape.
I thought it was a great pic because my butt and hip padding happened to be perfect that day LOL.

You folks may not be aware.
Google recently integrated 'Search by Image' into it's engine.
Where you can enter an image (Either by url or upload from your PC) and it will find places on the web where the image is used.
I caught out a guy on a chat site the other night using a stolen picture.

If you use chrome browser you can even add the 'search by image' function to the context menu on right clicks while over an image.
