View Full Version : Do you let your femininity take control?

During a recent weight-loss, I experienced something. Amelia grew and pushed my drab persona in the background, suddenly I actively thought about body shape, diet, aerobic exercises, and unwanted bulkyness.
It worked wonders, I feel petite, almost frail and girlish :). But that wasn't the only change, mind you. I've always considered myself straight, but that goes for my female persona as well. I'm not sure I can steer clear of future temptations, how did you feel afterwards?
One last thing, do you have any experience with a natural phytoestrogen rich food? It would seem like I've reached a cross point with my current hormone balance. My body shape is nice, nearing a waist-hip ratio of 0.7 (hooray for big pelvis bones), but if I train much more, I'll loose my butt...

Hi Amelia
If it helps Amanda is always in the background of my mind offering constructive criticism about diet, exercise, shopping, temperament, consideration to others, shopping, organising her schedule etc etc.
I know I shouldn't but I enjoy shopping when femmed up. Its a bit like going grocery shopping when your hungry..........not always a good idea

I would LOVE for my femininity to take control!!!!!! Unfortunately for me there are always "other controls" in my life that dictate otherwise.

I decided to go with it some time ago to the point where I sometimes consciously have to work at being male when I need to.
The more you embrace your female side the more rounded a person you are and it opens up some much more opportunities in life. It's like going to the shopping mall and only visiting tool shops and men's clothing stores. If you go with your female side, it's suddenly a wonderland of beautiful things to see and buy.
That's how life should be.

Any change we make starts from the inside out.:)

I strive to have my femininity in control all the time. By this I mean that I strive to be patient, understanding, loving, and tolerant. Slow to anger, and quick to forgive. These are not necessarily purely feminine traits, but I tend to associate them with the feminine side of my personality. On those occasions when I've "let the man out" I've usually regretted it. Sometimes it's necessary, like when you're defending someone weaker than you. But even on these occasions I usually don't feel good about it.
Seems that any time we feel good about our bodies, we will likewise feel that we can do more as cross-dressers. It isn't about our femininity as much as it is about our confidence in general.

i am in the same boat....in fact recently...i got caught by a family member in my boxers and was told i was getting too skinny..YAY!!! I wish that was true though...
As far as temptations...for most CD's that remains a fantasy...but if you do...do what makes you happy...i play both sides and I am happy and comfortable in my sexuality...thats what you meant right??
And foods...I heard to-fu is a testoterone blocker....dont know how true that is...but I heard it from a hippie trainer who knows his stuff so...i give it some credit...my tofu intake increased when i heard that.

I recently started shaving all over, and instead of anyone noticing my knuckles were suddenly bare like I feared, they expressed concern that I was getting skinny! Only my scale knows the truth. I think this forum is getting me more in touch with Julie, even when I'm not, and it's kind of an awesome feeling. Thanks, everyone!

Amelia my weight loss was not intentional, it just happened through walking more with a new dog !
I do like the shape it's given me and the clothes I can now wear off the peg. I don't think of it as girly or frail, maybe it has changed my persona because it looks and feels good, if I can stay at 37-31-37 without padding I'm happy !!

Funny thing about weight loss and being a guy . . . if you are very heavy in weight category people will compliment you on your reduction "Looking good!" If you are bigger in a muscle/bulky kind of way and loose weight then people automatically think you are ill or too skinny.
I stand 5'6" and at my biggest bulky weight (got to love the gym) I was 175lbs. Now when younger I fluctuated between 145 - 155 (fighting weight) but shot up once I stopped fighting and concentrated on bulk. I went for my 50 year physical and the doctor told me weight is weight (muscle or fat) and your body is only designed to carry so much. She suggested a weight drop to 155 - 160 . . . so I did. Hit the gym, plenty of cardio, light weights and voila 150. I was feeling good (could run like a 30 year old), still athletic and toned. One day in the gym a buddy who I used to train with saw me and came over . . . "Dude have you been sick or something because you look like a skeleton". Oh well, I feel a lot healthier than I did at 175lbs so I think I will stay at my current weight.
