Yesterday was the best day I had since the day of our commitment ceremony. I found out at the PO that one of the other carriers is transferring to S. Carolina sometime next month. I will be getting her route. It's only a part-time route but it will mean no more driving an hour or an hour and a half some days just to get to work. I don't get health care but I will get paid vacation which I don't get at either job at present. It's 6 days a week 5.5 hours a day and that is more hours then I get between both jobs now. I know it's not much but it's more money, less travel & paid vacation. Sounds like a win, win, win to me. :)
