I did not know much about intersex untill recently. Im now 64yrs old. My eldest daughter who is an archivist while reseaching the old records of the hospital where I was born(now closed down) That when I was born I had an intersex problem. In those days 1941 The did not know much so the just sewed up my vagina or what ever and left my testes. I still have a scar there which I thought was normal. Dont think a Dr ever has examined me in that spot ?? Maybe that explains why my father and mother argued. My mother had birth poroblems. Infections-peritonitis in those before penicilin days and nearly died. So my father made the decision ??? Ithink ??? Maybe thats why my mother hated boys and started dressing me as a girl ????? Dont kno Ive since found out they werent married till 1948. So I am even more confused. But Im glad I found out even if its too late to do anything about it A Dr has now looked at my groin and does not know why the scar is there, But she also after looking at the records agrees thats probably why I now have a hormonal imbalance ??? Im A CD so is it a coincidence or inevitable ???
