I currently wear mens 2x briefs and was wondering what the proper size panties or thongs would be??

Thanks

I wear a mens size 34 underwear, and I wear womens size 7 or 8 in panties.

As with almost any womens clothing it depends. I wear XL men's underwear. In women's Jockey I wear a size 8, with the Lane Bryant panties its 14/16.

I hope that helps a little.

Thanks for that Dana J . Panty (knicker) sizes used to be a nightmare as many manufacturers used differing systems when I was a teenager. Luckily I had a supply readily available as I borrowed my sister's and as I took the same size as her I could see what that was from the label. There seemed to be a number of sizing systems, some were numeric 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, the higher the number the bigger the panties. Others were age or height related for example 14-16 years or 60 inches height but this failed to acount for differences in build, a plump 12 year old might take a larger size in knickers than a skinny 16 year od, and the same applied to height, short and fat Vs tall and slim. There was also the S(mall), M(edium), L(arge) , OS(ize) up to XXXXOS. The problem arose that one maker's OS might be another's L etc. Nowadays panties tend to be related to dress size here in the UK so I take size 22 to 24. The USA sizing system is different as are the European ones as an example on a pair of Sloggi Briefs the label states Euopean 52, French 54, UK 24 and Italian 8.

Oh and I have found that the extra "male equipment" down there usually means that I have to wear one size up from a woman of the same size and build.

i wear a 10 0r 11 depending on what brand, some 10's are too small , we are probally close to the same size, i am 5'9 around 260- 270# i used to wear a 1- 2 x in mens underware , but havent worn a pair in oh 10 years or better . just keep in mind a pair of panties hangs different on you body than mens. they are supposed to sit higher.
