When I first told my SO, I have a similar situation. I had seen a dress that was too nice to pass up on and bought it, when I got home, I told her "Look at this cute dress I bought for Joanne" her reply was "and who the !@#$%^ is Joanne?" then it dawned on her and she started laughing. Now she does it a lot "look what I bought for Joanne" "saw a dress Joanne would love" etc, etc, etc.

Your wife will get to that point too ;) till then hopefully your both having a really good laugh.
