Just wanted to share my love for formal wear. I just love the long full flowing dresses and beutiful embelishments found on such. It is just so sexy and beautiful, and tasteful.

Anyone else love formal wear?...

to me there is nothing finer then a beautiful woman wearing a beautiful formal gown. The only thing that I hate is that I'm not wearing it. I just bought a formal gown from rufflesnlace. I attached a picture of it and hope it is seen by everyone. That isn't me in it, but I hope I look as beautiful in it as she does. I love formal wear, and mermaid style dresses in particular. Unfortunately I neither have the body type, or leg length for one.:mad:

Beautifull dress. I would love to wear that myself. I am partial to dresses that are form fitting, so they make you walk more like a lady, and prevent you from bending down without bending at the knees.

I have a nice red prom dress that was given to me, does that count as formal. Wish I had a picture of it to show but as of right now I don't. But to answer your question, YES I absolutley adore formal wear and would love to have the dress you pictured here. Have fun with it.

I also got a formal dress from RufflesnLace. They were extremely helpful. I talked with them on the phone and they walked me through exactly how to measure myself for it. My wife helped me measure and we ordered it right away. I love wearing it. I spent most of the night tonight in it. I had hoped to show it on this post but I guess I don't know how to do it. i have 2 very nice formal dresses the one is a sheer black with a built in white with light striped liner ,the other is a blue rayon with a lace wrap, they are both wonderful, althoguh , my friends think the blue one makes me look like an old lady .

I don't have a formal dress, though I would love to get one. It's pretty scary going to a gown shop and ordering one with your measurements. Though it would be nice if we could have a "prom" here in Hawaii. Getting all dressed up and having fun. :)

We always seem to fall in love with a number of formal dresses anytime we shop at Deb's, but usually talk ourselves out of buying them based on "where would we wear these???" Around the house doesn't seem to justify the expense for something so beautiful :( Shoes? that argument never applies... /shrug
