View Full Version : To any lurking Celebrities or Public Figures...

So how about this for a fun thought… We have a lot of silent or ‘lurker’ members here – and statistically, we believe that there are a lot of folk in the real world who share what we do but never reveal. Some of those ‘sisters’ will likely be quite high-profile figures – perhaps in industry, politics, the arts, media, public service…

…and so what are the chances of perhaps just a few of those high-profile folk lurking here, safely ensconced behind a cartoon avatar and a pseudonym… Hmmmm…? Just imagine who might be here, reading our ramblings, delivering the occasional one-line reply, feeling the same things we all feel… but being completely anonymous about it… I think it’s time they revealed themselves! ;)

So my semi-serious questions to you all…
- Which celebs and public figures do you think would be most likely to be lurking here?
- What category of public figure would be the most beneficial to our cause (Hollywood star; politician; writer, sportsman, musician etc.) and why?
- Who would you like to see emerge from our lurking closet as a bona fide crossdresser?

For me – I think we’re most likely to have more than a smattering of High Court/Supreme Court judges and politicians of all hues… and wouldn't it be great if any of them had the nuts to be open about it?
I’d also really like to see how the world would treat someone like Bill Gates.. or David Cameron... or David Beckham… not just to wear a sarong or man skirt, but to go the whole transforming thing…

Wouldn't it be great to see a serious public figure go seriously CD public…?

I think its best kept as fantasy. Why would any high profile person out themselves here? To impress total strangers?

I doubt anyone would own up to it unless making money was involved. :)

Katey I came out to my wife twenty years ago, but when she first caught me dressed she rushed off to her sister in tears, and then as I later discovered confided in a friend .
I contacted the friend afterwards, she use to have a high powered job in London. We discussed Cding and she made several comments about high ranking barristers and judges who not only wore silk stocking as court regalia but had a club for them to wear stockings with other things !!
Could be interesting if we knew Eddie Izzard made a contrbution !

Okay, I admit it... Im Batman. :heehee: Just kidding, of course. I would be surprised if there were NOT any famous people who are crossdressers. Cant say I blame them for not wanting to jeopardize their careers over it though. Actors and musicians might be able to get away with it. Nobody is really surprised when they act a little unusual. A politician though would likely get well and truly raked over the coals. It might make CDs look bad too. People might start believing that all crossdressers are (gasp) politicians.

Katey, it seems to me a bit of a 'man' thing to do, so I'd go with high ranking politicians, military personal, business entrepreneurs and other masculine lead industries. I'd suggest most crossdressing hair dressers are out and proud...and in the minority! Just a hunch.

I also suspect David Beckham dabbles in it but he's not about to ruin his sexy image by outing himself. Nor would most. Until crossdressing is desirable it will remain undercover.

Katey, why don't you start a movement?? :)

I know you can bet your bottom dollar that this site and many others are monitored by the governments that be. Our own HS in the USA probably is monitoring every site here for terrorist activities Katey. I really don't mind but hate that someone besides y'all know about me. I did a background check once on myself on a different computer and found that it could get my SSN, Driver License Number, Birthday, home addy, kids names, wife's name, occupation, and what shook me was all the web sites I had visited within the last seven days with emphasizes on social media sites. I got all this and only got to the part where I was going to have to pay to get more. Got me to thinking just how much information is really already out there? Almost scary.

Katey maybe I'd like to add Neil and Christine Hamilton I would think that could be an interesting couple act !!
I could imagine Christine making some pretty volatile GG coments and Neil well he'll just do as he's told !!

I would suggest there will be someone but they are not about to tell you Katey

oh I'm absolutely certain that the gateway router this site sits behind is being tapped like a beer keg by the NSA and any other agency with the clout to do so.
and I'm also sure that if through some twist of fate, I ever became inconvenient for someone with even a little bit of power that my little secret would be outed and used to keep me silent, or to otherwise make me irrelevant.

Case in point: Chelsea Manning ... massive government corruption, payoffs, bribes, dirty international dealings, drone strikes, yadda yadda yadda, who cares, did you hear that guy was a huge tranny?

which is why you will never see any celebrity (other than those who are already open about it) ever come out about CD/TG stuff here or anywhere else :-/

There was a major athlete who had to come clean when faced with pictures outing him by his girlfriend: Oscar De La Hoya. It's interesting that since his outing, nothing. Of course he was retired. I have no doubt that there are some "famous" folks who are cross dressers. If 1% are cross dressers and you go to the Oscars, it's simple math. Someone in a tux has VS underwear on underneath.

Still, none will ever admit it.

Once upon a time...

There was a chap by the name of Einstein...

Who was a "known" CDer... simply because of a famous picture. [Just one ???]

But that's the American way. Giant leaps based on the flimsiest of "evidence".

Many current or past NFL [some quite famous multi time All Pro] stars have been "accused" of being gay. True or not is totally irrelevant to their football skills. But the simplest of math and statistics would indicate dozens of players are likely to be and yet life goes on and the world keeps turning.

Men's VISION does drive this CDing thing for the vast majority of CDers and is supported daily by the P&V gallery alone, never mind all the other Forums. Most men on the planet less than 45ish CAN see and still have fully functioning programming...Like probably 95% of the lurkers at this site.

It really does not matter what the true percentage of CDers on the planet is but given all the the FACTS, it's highly likely that the number/percentage of CDers far exceeds that of gays by a very wide margin - perhaps by ten fold - given the VISION thing. People here are of course free to "claim" perhaps 1 or 2 % of the population, if that somehow helps them feel better. Simply not realistic based on the evidence UNLESS we are talking about FULL dressers.

THEN it makes sense. But most CDers are not and the vast majority of all those lurkers likely have little desire to dress fully and/or leave their closet...

No right or wrong, better or worse. Just being Human and unique.

So I doubt that any public disclosures of what ANY "famous" person wears on their own time and/or under their clothes would have much of an impact on CDers in general or full dressers in particular. And... just like here, isn't it likely "many" famous people ARE underdressers at least?

I doubt any high profile figures would ever out themselves deliberately. I am self employed in a one man business and I wouldnt want my CDing widely known as Im quite sure it would negatively affect my business.

I recall hearing that at least 4 UK Members of Parliament were CD, including a household name, but there has been at least one election since then.

Here's a thought. It's a well-known fact that many people in the public eye, i.e. celebrities, athletes, elected officials and artists often lose touch with reality on their way up. By reality I mean that the world they eventually come to live in has very little rules and boundaries. When you reach the point where you have assistants, handlers and people that collect your money and pay your bills, there's pretty much nothing left for you to do except that which made you famous.

That being said, there's stories on a regular basis of known people doing things that should not have . Look at Charlie Sheen, Justin Beiber, and more recently all the football players in trouble for domestic violence. Stories go on forever. Remember William Holden from Hogan's Heroes? Got beat to death with a tripod he used for making porn films in his hotel room. Like I said, there's no shortage of what people will do.

So you have to know that amongst all of that, there are lots of men crossing the gender line.

I think a lot of actors had to dress up as women at some occasion on their careers (even the not so famous ones). I wonder how much of them end up liking it and carrying on afterwards.

I know of a brazilian actor who once played a transvestite on a telenovela here. His character became very famous at the time because it was funny and was one of the first of the kind on Brazilian television. The actor even won a "Revelation Actor of the Year" prize here because of that role.

After the telenovela ended, I saw an interview of him where he talked dearly about the character. I remember him saying that the character became very special to him personally and how he ended up incorporating some aspects of her lifestyle into his own life. He didn't said anything about crossdressing, but I think he became one after that. You can google "explode coração sarita", there's a side to side comparison of the actor and the character. He looked good and I bet it "awakened" the woman inside.

I guess that any person who have "bitten the apple" have a higher chance to became a CD than those who have never experienced it. Following this theory, I would say that actors are a very susceptible group. Maybe we have a famous one around here who have been on this kind of role, who knows?

What category of public figure would be the most beneficial to our cause (Hollywood star; politician; writer, sportsman, musician etc.) and why?

I'm going to pick writer or musician. Actors are expected to disappear into their roles, so you can't really tell role from reality and many would assume it was the former. Politicians and sports figures are too exposed to the whims of the masses for the current state of affairs. They'll be most able to affect change further down the line.

Writers and musicians are expected to push boundaries, to challenge us, and to find a specialized audience for their message. And they're very much expected to have a message that is uniquely their own. If the lead singer of a punk band (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCAQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FLaura_J ane_Grace&ei=tYwfVL6-LYaqyASFxIGACw&usg=AFQjCNFRAMnLflZhl7FriNOYH4sQQwR2Tw&sig2=c-FG1k3nviTvk-3J20dmrw&bvm=bv.75775273,d.aWw) can transition and connect with an audience, then it seems like now is a great time for more brave souls along similar lines.

Bruce Jenner. First thing I read in the news about him was he Adam's Apple shaved. Uh huh. Then Kris Jenner says in an interview that he likes wearing Spanx. And then they file for divorce. Shocker.
