I love STYX and decided to go see them from the female perspective. They were magnificent! Lawrence Gowan probably didn't realize just who he was waving at since I was 4th row in a standing room only on the floor of the Hard Rock Live in Biloxi, MS. What a moment! Had some wonderful girl time at the casinos, hotel, and great rock band. I was treated like anyone else. Only a few looks. I did use the ladies room everywhere I was at with no issues. Took care of business, washed hands, and checked hair/lipstick and left. I have a picture, but having trouble posting on this thread from my phone. The more you go out, the easier it becomes.

I have been with my girlfriends to concerts dressed 'stylishly" and no one notices apart from others that are already in the groove.
Never been busted and always have great interaction with others of the same kind.
Then I go home and change into something that is more conservative. :)

That must have been a thrill going to a concert dressed. You could just blend in and not worry about anyone getting a really good look after they performers start. So really from the female perspective was the group better or worse as a female observer or as a male? Did you feel the songs had different meanings?

Want to really have fun at a Styx concert? Dress up as Mr. Roboto!

I've seen them from both perspectives and love them regardless. Being there as a girl was definitely a new experience. One being so close to stage, I noticed they would look past the guys to me more. Seemed to have more connection to them and a few songs had different meanings. I would love to go again!
