To all that started this forum and moderators plus everyone that has been active in giving us support and help by letting us know of their past experiences to keep us from making the same mistakes or showing us how to improve from wherever we may be at this moment. Thank you all I really appreciate and hope to one day be able to pass it forward to someone who may need some advise. I Love you all for treating me like family and hope to keep staying in touch. Hugs and kisses.

I've learned so much more about myself here than anywhere else. Nice to learn from others and their experiences to make sense of our own feelings. It's also encouraging for me to not sweat the small stuff but to enjoy being who I am! None of us are alone. Thank you all!

Cheryl

Hi Natasha
Your comment is so timely relevant as far as I am concerned and Cheryl Ann I couldn't agree more.
In my recent post "return to the fog" I expressed an ambivalence towards the forum (probably more a derision) as a result of the phase I was going through. I got very tired of some of the attitudes expressed and the general negativity of some forum members, but I will not go into that here. Despite this feeling though I will be externally grateful to the Forum for providing the means for me to meet some amazing and beautiful people. Apart from helping me realize that who I am is ok and that I am not some lonely freak, it is the friendships made. I could not turn my back on such wonderful people who I love dearly.
So my thanks to the Forum is for being the conduit that has provided the opportunity for us to come together and express our true selves and develop relationships that would never exist otherwise.
Luv
Amanda

Ditto to that ... more often, I'm finding myself contributing ideas on the forum and then thinking, "Wait, I learned that here ..." ;)

Natasha,
Thank you for posting this.
Before I found this site, I thought I was all alone. I also would like to thank the GG's, (especially the wives of CDers). I admire their honest perspective.

Love,
Lexi V.

Hi Natasha, There are so many that think that they are completely alone in this program till they stumble on this wonderful forum.

Back in the 50s' & 60s' information about this program was few and far between.

beautifully said natasha! such a fantastic place to meet people, share information and experiences and to make friends...

Back in the 50s' & 60s' information about this program was few and far between.

omg yes, this was so taboo and a horrible time to grow up. i thought i was the only one who felt like this and kept everything bottled up
inside. i was so deep in the closet and thought i would never get out...

First of all welcome, I have to admit this site saved me from a lot of mistakes, I learned no matter how stupid the question is, I get good advice and I feel like a family member here and hope you feel the same.

Natasha,
I thought I was the only one at one time.
I thought I was strange.
I now feel I am normal as the next person.
