Is there anyone here from Australia who has transitioned or come out as transgender?

I would like to know what the laws are regarding harrassment, bullying and discrimination, as well as relationship laws (e.g. marriage) with respect to gender identity and gender expresssion.

Things are getting worse (starting to get feelings of dysphoria - doing a separate thread) so I want to know what support I have (or lack thereof) in terms of the law.

Thanks :)

(Mods - please move to the most appropriate section :)).

Most laws are enacted at the state level in countries like Australia, USA, Canada and such. Your best bet to know for sure is to Google the area you live in followed by transgender law or look up alocal support group. IITried to find the info for you but couldn't find asource that was all encompassing.
