Hi All!

The SO had an all day project that would take her to another town in another part of the state so I thought I would dress and stay around the house all day, than I had an idea. I had wanted to for the longest time to go for a ride dressed. So I decided today would be the day. I had done some short trips underdressed but, never one fully in girl mode. I took some planning; the biggest challenge was getting into and out of my car unseen by the neighbors. So I parked the car in the driveway so I could slip in and out. I had on a matching black bra and panties, a black full slip, a black garter belt and stocking, a long wool skirt, a tight sweater, polished finger and toe nails, an inconspicuous pair of clip-on earrings, a necklace and some light makeup. All was going well and I was very excited to be out on this sunny (but cold) morning. I had a route planned out that would be more than a couple of hours and even had a cup of coffee to sip on during my trip. I had just left town when the low fuel light came on! What??? With all this planning I forgot to check the gas! I had no guy stuff with me and stopping for gas dressed would be out of the question! I shorten my trip quite a bit, but I still had a great time. I’ll spend the rest of the day relaxing at home and I’ll do a better job of planning next time!

XOXOXO
Carroll

Carrols,
I'm glad you still enjoyed it, I know I do !
You know there will be a next time, so check your fuel and tyres and lights ! You don't want to get pulled up for defective lights !
In fact you could say CDing is beneficial for car maintenance !
I've driven out a few times now and start to think about all things that could go wrong after a few miles and again you've overlooked packing some drab clothes ! I just say what the hell, so I'm dressed !

Why not stop for gas dressed? You're out of town, pull into a station that you'd never stop at and get gas. I've done it plenty of times. even if you get a smirk, who cares you'll never see them again.

Hi Carroll,

Congrats on your trip out! Next time just make sure you check the gas tank level.

It's incidents like this that put the humour into what we do.
Thanks for sharing this Carroll. You'll be a better planner for the experience.
Your outfit sounds ideal for a ladylike leisurely drive. Were you planning on stopping somewhere quiet for a bit of a walk around? That's always fun until the cops turn up (another story)

I'm guessing that your car's gas tank will always be close to full from now on.

As for getting to and from your house to the car and back, here's what I used to do: dress up almost completely, then cover up with sweatpants and a bulky jacket. In the car, I could put on makeup and heels, take off the sweatpants and jacket, and put on the wig and earrings or whatever. That helped make those moments a little less scary.

And I guess I don't need to tell you this, but I'd always have a complete set of male clothes in the car.

Congrats on the trip. Big step to take. I am a pay at the pump lady. I have done that a lot no problems, but
do it when you are comfortable. PPPP.

The Best Laid Plans...

Oh, the best laid plans...Nothing beats being out and about dressed en femme. I stopped for gas only once and paid at the pump. I did notice that a GG gave me the once over 2-3 times, however. But who really cares?

Congratulations Carrols. You have done it once so you will not be shy to do it again.

Congrats. Getting out dressed is so exhilarating. Well it is for me since I don't get to do it very often.

I can empathize. I was going to be away from home for a week, hired a car, filled it full of fem stuff and as luck would have it, had the house to myself when it came to departure time. So thought, "yep lets travel enfem". 25 miles from home looked at the fuel gauge and less than half a tank, not enough to get me where I was going (hire company only provide so many gallons)
This forced me to find a supermarket with a petrol station that was pay at the pump. So this was Helen's first time getting fuel, nervous but also exciting. I look back on it as a blessing in disguise as it moved my confidence onwards and upwards. Lost count of how often I've done it since.

The times I have gone out fully en femme I make sure to check the fuel. I also check my headlights and turn signals as well as the brake lights. The last time I was pulled over by a police officer it was for a burned out brake light. I was in my male attire, so no big deal. One thing I did learn from the stop was to buy a two pack of replacement lamps for the brake light. Those lights can be changed in less than a minute. When out driving en femme I stick to residential city streets. There is no sense in having a breakdown between two Interstate on/off ramps. I also carry a change of clothing.

As far as wearing undergarments to work...I don't recommend it. Sure pantyhose or a panty may go undetected. However, any GG will recognize a bra strap. They may feel it is embarrassing to tell you, but, they will notice.

I think it is exciting to drive dressed. I'll bet your heart was racing. Pay at the pump is a neat thing.

I have filled the tank up dressed before. Swipe the credit card and pump. Of course you are being recorded on video but who cares? People will only look at that if you there's a crime nearby.

The trick is to go where you don't usually go. And try to act like a lady.

Awesome story and glad the drive was enjoyable despite the gas incident! Good thoughts on the sipping part too...on one of my few drives, I had to speed home because I downed a huge 32oz thing of water.

I have stopped for gas many times. Always carry a credit card and pay at the pump. No one will see you if you worry about it. Once coming back from Tennessee my card wouldn't work at the pump. Had to go inside to pay it was windy kept blowing my skirt around. The guy at the next to mine kept looking at my legs. I had to back inside to get my card back and he watch me the whole time. Made me feel good.

Just be yourself and don't let little things stop you.
