I turned on the TV this morning caught a pleasant surprise. A serious episode about transsexuals and it was equally distributed between mtfs and ftms. If you live in the Pacific time zone, I believe you can still catch it.

Maybe more shows like this will lead to more acceptance in society for all transpeople.

Sorry I missed it. If the show was well done, I think we can only benefit from it.

I just watched it. It was kinda the usual thing. The first FTM TS started to make a point and Maury tried to cut him off. But he kinda just kept talking and made the argument that TS/Tg people aren't sinning, or perverted, or freaks. And that people need to understand that we are all God's children, and need to be treated with dignity and repsect. That we just wish to correct a birth defect with the assistance of the medical professionals, and live life as we feel we are to be.

He recieved much applause from the audience. The rest of the show just seemed like all the others to me. Look this person was born a _______, and now lives as a _________. Isn't that amazing????

Someday somebody will do a show that isn't about the hype, but the substance. It'll probably only run once.
