Ok, you're at the bar having drinks with the girls. What are you going to have?
I'll have a Yellow Bird: rum, Galliano, cream de banana, o.j. and pineapple juice!

I'm an IPA fan so that is my first choice, followed by yummy martinis and Mai Tai's. Regardless, what I like isn't affected by what I happen to be wearing.

Tina tends to drink a concoction we named after her: gin and tonic with a splash of cran/rasp.! we do call it a Tina as long as no one is in ear shot. Explaining it would not be easy :)
Outside of that it's normally white wine, preferably a Puis Fusse, or a Pinot Grigio.

I quit drinking 34+ years ago, so today it might be a Shirley Temple or Virgin Mary.
Back when I did drink, I liked a King Alphonse - cream de cocoa with cream floating above it. You drink it with a small coffee straw and try to mix a bit of cream with the cream.

slice a strawberry (blueberries work too- but the colors are not as good) into 1mm thin slices. scatter onto crushed ice. Drizzle a citrus vodka over the fruit, and add a splash of Midori melon for green (christmas) or Hypnotique (sp?) for blue (4th of july) color and taste. sip through mixing straws. warning- addictive!
I make these at parties, they go like hotcakes!

I have always been partial to a well made Long Island Ice Tea. If it is made right, it is awesome. If it is made wrong, it is awful. No middle ground to speak of. Also like a good Kamikaze as well. While in the service, i was told of a drink called a New Jersey Turnpike. The bartender wipes up the bar and squeezes it into a glass and serves it. I don't know if this drink actually exists, but it does sound funny. (no offense intended to those from Jersey)

I used to be a bartender in college and we had something similar called a bar mat cocktail. You know, that disgusting rubber mat on which drinks are prepared. Dump the remnants into a shot glass and voila, an equally disgusting concoction.
Never upset the bartender, you may very well get a bonus shot like this in your drink of choice!!! ;)

Boiler makers is a girl drink.. :D back when i was stupid and I don't mean yesterday..even though i might have been..anyway..we would drop a big shot of Walker Red in a pitcher so it was like a boiler maker. Knew i met my match when i bit the glass one night..and crunched a bit, before spitting..yes, i'm a spitter.. :battingeyelashes:.
Long Island Ice Tea..mmmm..back in the day when it was a $1.25 for a large cup..yep they weren't stupid to give glasses.. $1 tip would get you most of a double dose.. "but mom, its Tea"..:heehee: yeah, aint being 19 grand..lol.

Sweet drinks give me a headache. Wine is always good, whites are the most reliable and don't bog me down with tannins. Finish the evening with a Benedictine or cognac.

It's very yummy and easy drinking! You usually have to teach the bartender how to make it though.

I don't really have one. If I'm drinking I'll order what I feel like regardless of how I'm dressed. It could be anything from a Vodka Martini, Grey Goose, dry with 3 olives (need my protein) to Irish Whiskey on the rocks and anything in between.

I have so many drinks that I love that I can't have while on my keto diet. These days it's straight vodka, because it's the "keto friendliest" due to no sugars. And I don't have much of that. And right now I'm off the alcohol completely until I hit my goal weight.

Hmm. Unsure how "girly".. But recently I've been on a strawberry daiquiri kick at the club.

Usually, a diet coke. I'm driving.
Otherwise, an Amaretto 7up spritzer.
Ceera
01-14-2015, 02:53 PM
My drink of choice when I'm dressed and out as Ceera is Amaretto, on the rocks, with a cherry in it. My first night out, I had thought I was going to have white wine. But when I got to the bar, I found myself asking for Amaretto!
Funny thing is, when I'm at a bar in male mode I'm more likely to order an Irish Coffee, a frozen Brandy Alexander, or a glass of white wine. I do drink Amaretto on occasion at home as a nightcap, but I rarely order it in a bar, as a male.
When I was in my 20's (and a bit before, truth be told), my mom's favorite "girly drink" was a Sloe Gin Fizz. My dad and I both learned to make them, and my sister and I found we liked them too!

At home: healthy fresh vegetable juices homemade with a juicer.
Outside: red wine or sweet white wine or champagne, no strong alcohol except a small glass of distilled fruit (apple, plum, pear, fig) after a good meal.

Talking about girly drinks and sloe gin fizzes got me thirsty for one! Went to the liquor store just now and got some sloe gin, so I can make sloe gin fizzes at home!
Sloe Gin Fizz:
1 1/2 parts Sloe Gin
1 part lemon juice
1 teaspoon confectioner's sugar
3 parts soda water or 7-up
Shake well, or mix in a blender. Serve in an Old Fashioned glass - ice optional. Makes a pink froth that slowly settles to a jewel red drink with a foamy pink head.
Tastes sort of like strawberry soda pop, and the 'kick' definitely sneaks up on you!

single malt, preferably lowland in a snifter, please.
If my ex-wife can prefer Wild Turkey 100, I see no reason I can't drink the same way.
If I'm having food, I order an appropriate wine.
OF course, Cliquot is always acceptable. :)

I was having "girly" drinks before I mad CDing an important part of my life. Sure, I was made fun of by my guy friends (and I didn't care), but I wasn't the one asking them to introduce me to girls.
Gradually, I'm caring less and less about the little things that tend to be gender-assigned. I'll have a Sex on the Beach in full guy mode or a Glenlivet on the rocks en femme. Having a girly drink doesn't make me feel any more girly, and having a manly drink doesn't make me feel any less of a man.

Red Death. It's some kind of combination of vodka and fruit liqours that tastes like fruit punch, but packs a punch as well. Bartenders mix it up in a pitcher and pour it out into shot or shooter glasses.
Edit. Ah, found it. http://mixthatdrink.com/red-death/

Never been out dressed for drinks before but I would probably go for simple cocktails or alcopops since most younger girls here seem to just drink them.
When I go out as a male I usually drink a lot of beer and whiskey from time to time.
need to stop with all the beer though '' a moment on the lips, a life time on the hips''
