I have SO MUCH to be thankful for. Starting with the most important.

NUMBER ONE:
My SO. I would have nothing worth being without her.

NUMBER TWO:
Although I probably would be happy as BI, TS, GAY, or a hermit (happiness would be determined by life, work, health, love and not my gender or sexual orientation), I am thankful to be a heterosexual male in a long term forever relationship with a wonderful creature who has all the equipment of my fantasies. My wish would be for anyone and everyone to find a SO to be in love with and to be loved by. And for same sex marriage to be a basic human right.

NUMBER THREE:
My son. He is an inspiration. He has never ever done anything unkind. I don't think there is one mean molecule in his body.

NUMBER FOUR:
Continued good health. No more cancer.

NUMBER FIVE:
The USA, West Michigan, and Grand Rapids.

NUMBER SIX:
The Network

NUMBER SEVEN:
The Grand Illusions

NUMBER EIGHT:
That Drab to Fabulous went well. And will be again this year.

NUMBER NINE:
Almost enough heels.

NUMBER TEN:
More skirt suits than I ever dreamed of.

NUMBER ELEVEN:
More skirts than I ever dreamed of.

NUMBER TWELVE:
More tops than I ever dreamed of.

NUMBER FOURTEEN:
More coats than I ever dreamed of.

NUMBER FIFTEEN:
Almost enough summer dresses.

NUMBER SIXTEEN:
Almost enough winter dresses:

NUMBER SEVENTEEN:
Thirty two feet of closet rod and a room for Billie.

NUMBER EIGHTEEN:
Plenty of purses and bling.

NUMBER NINETEEN:
Fun experiences that the average guy can not even imagine.

NUMBER TWENTY:
An irrepressible spirit and the ability to seek out and develop joy and spread it around.

I know I missed something. What was it??????

There's clinical evidence that expressing thankfulness is good for your mental health. Simply the act of writing down six things you are thankful each morning has been shown alleviate mild to moderate depression. You've listed 20, so you should be in very good emotional shape.

I'm grateful to have the freedom to be the person I want to be, to have heels that fit, a wife who accepts me, a great family, meaningful work and a really good dog. I could go on, but six is enough for now

Smart, witty, short, and nice. Hard for most to do but you did it!

stephNE,
I get to experience life as a man and as a woman. It has made me happier to be a man because it is a choice and not the default option. And I love dressing, the whole process, the work involved. And especially I love putting my creation to the test, going OUT enfemme in public. Of the last hundred or so times OUT I have had maybe five times where someone else made it less than perfect, for a few minutes, until that person realized that they can NOT rain on my parade. Then as I confidently and gracefully went about my business, they LOST and I WON.
I would be happy with one outfit. Part of my reason for the long list, the stuff, 9 - 18 was to poke fun at myself. The rest of it was to......to be thankful.

# 21 - Having a sense of humor. We need that to be healthy and when we can be the butt of our own jokes and not take ourselves too seriously, it means we are resiliant and strong.
