I had training for work today out of town and opted to drive myself so I could shop around afterwords. I was in pursuit of the perfect cardigan but after several stores was empty-handed. I decided to check out JCPenney for my last stop. As I scoured through the aisles searching for that perfect open front flowy cardigan I heard can I help you. I looked up to see a pretty young trans woman. I have read posts of other girls clocking CDs and trans women in public but I have never encountered this myself. I told her I was looking for A cardigan and she led me to several different options and was very helpful as I'm pretty sure she knew I was trans even though i was in my drab work attire. It was just a great experience to see and interact with another girl like me in public. I stood there wanting to cry. It made me feel like I'm not alone. I bought a nice cardi and went to my truck and balled. Is this experience weird ... perhaps. I live in Northern New England and there are not many girls like me my age. I feel so alone sometimes and for once I didn't feel alone. made my day!!!!!!

Aubrey,

Isn't it an awesome feeling to know you aren't alone, and even better that another trans person is out there working helping women and other trans alike!!

I totally know why you cried and I nearly did just from your story.

Enjoy the feeling *hugs*
