The so has been going out the last 4 days for 4 to 5 hrs :) and I've been able to dress. Today she's gone for 6 hrs. and I'm dress for the holidays. The only bad thing is she well be home later trying to get her to go to her friends house overnight so I can do my nails. She is talking about going to Vegas in the spring. I can only hope.

When our daughter lived in the mid west for several years my wife went to visit her for seven to ten days each fall. It was great as a retiree to have Stephanie time 24/7 for a week. Now our daughter lives an hour away. I usually get Stephanie time seven hours a day, Monday through Friday when the school year is in session.

Glenda,
My wife works unsociable hours so I know I have fixed times when I can dress ! My son lives less than ten minutes away and gives me very little warning !!
One day they will find dad in bra and suspender belt having a heart attack when trying to change back to drab !!

I know how you feel, on edge every time a car pulls up outside the house or when the phone rings thinking that somebody is on their way home early!! then having to get into drab in 10 minutes flat, trying to remove every trace of makeup in-case I get caught out! So cool for you Glenda to get some time this week though, enjoy

Hoagie roll or kaiser roll? Or if we try to be exceptionally sweet, maybe a cinnamon roll? I think the feeling would get stale after a while. But then again, I like to loaf around a lot, too. Are there any female gender 'rolls'? Perhaps Lady fingers in the pastry world come close?
Bad puns aside, that said, when I was a teen I used to dress up in the afternoons while everyone was at work, and often pushed the envelope of safety, trying to stay dressed until the last possible second. There were a lot of close calls when my sister would come home from work early, or not go to work at all and come home directly from school, and I had to do all kinds of tricks to get back to my bedroom to change without being seen.
These days, it's the nail polish that will get me caught, because it takes way too long to take it off when someone arrives at the door. It's cold outside now, so tossing on a pair of gloves and a coat and pretending I'm on my way out is the most common option. But the polish, OPI's 'Pedal Faster Suzi!' is oh, so pretty!
