Close call stories

I was inspired by Tina's close call story (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?222245-Stuck-in-the-Closet!-(Funny-Story-Today)). I think they're hilarious. I recently had a wonderful close call. The wife and her Mom were supposedly out for a day of sightseeing and I had just gotten a fabulous new sissy dress the day before. So after they left, I leisurely bathed and shaved and got all sissy dressed. I then setup the camera and tripod and staged photo shoots all over the house and outside around the yard. So, I had to visit the ladies room. As I walked past the foyer I thought, "There's a nice shot! Checking myself in the mirror, bent slightly forward exposing my garters. So I set the camera timer and assumed the pose. Click, perfect shot! And then I heard a key slide into the front door lock two feet to my right. So like a combination ballerina/grasshopper I spin into the hallway, grab the camera, quietly close my office door, slip into the closet and slide out of my outfit which included a tight Rago all-in-one, tiny buckle maryjanes and a heart shaped padlock on the back of the dress collar.

Emerging in my bathrobe I asked, " what happened to the siteseeing?"
"Forgot the bus passes. Are you getting dressed, today?"
"Yeah, I thought about it," I replied with that sly grin.
"Yeah, I bet you did."

Fortunately I didn't do makeup or I would have surely been busted!

Carla,
I had a close call with my son a while ago ! I was dressed but luckily no makeup or wig as I walked down the stairs the kitchen door faces you and looks directly out through windows into the garden ! My son was standing on the patio steps so we were at eye level luckily I think he was looking to one side talking to his wife ! I spun round and managed two stairs at a time in 4" heels to get changed but to be quick I underdressed most of it almost forgetting the forms !!

Love the outfit and glad you were able to change so quickly .I have a pink satin dress somewhat like yours that i wear with petticoats .Your story also reminded me of the few times i also came close to getting caught

I had a close call in my teens. I dressed in the basement by the furnace when my Dad came home. Right next to the door he came in were the stairs, at the bottom of the stairs was the door to where the furnace was. I undressed and hid the clothes in the time it took for him to walk though two doors and down a flight of stairs. He sees me stark naked, 'What are you doing?" "Ah, nothing..."

Had a close call myself Monday. Wife goes to gym and shopping every Monday for about 4 hrs. So I'm dress down stairs in the basement when I hear the door open to the garage and someone walking up stairs. I slip off my skirt grab my jeans and sweatshirt and a shop coat. Hide my heels and skirt. Grab a shop rag and wipe my face with grease on it and up see the SO. Had to wait till she went to bed for me to change out of everything. Still had on my top with my bra and panties hose.

Well ... not so much of a close call situation but definitely falls in the panic zone.

Dr's appointment this morning for Jennifer (all good and update for another post). Then on to have a coffee and meet Paula (on here) for the first time.

We'll we are having such a nice comfortable chat about all things life in general. When I get the txt... My ex has locked her keys in her car and needs me to come pick her up, take her home to get her backups and return to her car. Dang... but but but I'm solidly in Jennifer mode which means a quick trip home for a shower and change then off to the rescue.

Background ... my ex knows of my desire to transition but has never met Jennifer nor am I at that point yet. We are on good terms and she lives very close by; so regularly helping each other out on things needing done. Admittedly I did break a few speeding laws on the way home, scratched off the mascara, jumped in and out of the shower to get the curls out :eek:, quick dry and done... Ex taken care of and another "I owe you one" in the bank for another day.

Ok, got another. Before I was drafted..yes, that gives away my age, I was sharing an apartment with a fried. After one of those pre induction binges, I woke up to the sound of four guys marching into my attic apartment...basically one roome. Trouble is I was wearing naught but pantyhose. I kept under a sheet before I was. Fully revealed and no one commented. But the reality was that my proclivities were more widely known than I imagined...that's another story.

This might not be considered a close call, more like busted. I often pick one weekend morning to sleep late. So, I slept in one morning as usual. My wife had woken up and quietly left the bedroom. As we had teenagers still in the house then, and as I usually sleep in a nice nightie, wife would always lock the door behind her.

When I finally woke up, I stumbled towards the master bathroom attached to our bedroom. Halfway there I heard the lock click and the door swung open. It was my daughter, and she had used a kitchen knife to unlock the door. Not sure who squealed the loudest, but she quickly closed the door. Not doubt she noticed my nightie as she very briefly had looked right at it and smiled. She never mentioned it nor did I.

The close call episodes usually take the wind right out of the sails. I was concerned that their afternoon wouldn't last too long as MIL is elderly though very healthy. I processed the photos in the camera and just chilled out. And the makeup thing really requires a guaranteed block of solitude, like when she flies back east. Hmmm? Maybe I could go to Hell for some help with makeup. Your handle is so cool!

Well, last night I was working on my computer. I had on some new women's jeans with my heels, bra, forms and wig and a cute top when the EX called. My youngest son was having serious dad withdrawal. I dropped the wig, grabbed a ball cap and sweater and threw it on over my outfit, changed my heels for my boots and headed out the door. As I am pulling into her driveway, I realized I still had my form in... Oops... Just glad no one was waiting in the driveway for me to get there.

I think the majority of us have mastered the art of doing quick changes. It's a skill like learning to do makeup. LOL!

In my situation today there is little worry for me for many reasons. But way back and married to my ex, I was doing some carpentry work one night at my sister-in-laws condo while they were out. She and I wore the same size and she had a huge closet upstairs of beautiful dresses and outfits being the socialite she was. I had the front door locked and started trying on several nice and expensive things. Then there was a knock on the door downstairs! Oh $-----!!! It was her brother, my brother-in-law who wanted to check the work we were doing.

You don't know how quick I changed! I met him at the windowless door and simply said, "I thought I heard someone knocking." Glad he didn't have a key. I think my pulse went to 200!

Both of us have been home sick for the past few days and I've spent my recovery time as Rhonda. Yesterday were both feeling a bit better so we slowly started getting the house decorated for the holidays. S takes a break when her phone rins and starts chatting with daughter -- I hear this from the next room. I wander through heading to back of house -- mind you I'm in wig, makeup, jewelry, tank top and layers over bra and forms, jeans, flats, etc. as I pass through the room where S is on the phone I glance over her shoulder and look straight at her phone. HOLY CRAP! SHES ON FACE TIME AND I'M LOOKING AT DAUGHTERS FACE ON THE PHONE -- AND SHE HAS A VIEW STRAIGHT INTO OUR LIVINGROOM. In a nano second it registers and I hit the gas to get out of line of sight. I hear daughter ask, "mom, who was that?" S gave a cover answer, but I suspect daughter may revisit this later. We'll see where this ends up. Been wanting to tell her, but only on my terms.

I came up with something nifty if your dressing at home and worried about someone disturbing your ( GIRL) time and getting Caught.

I call it (The Escaped Pod )..I know....I'm a nerd......

Before a dressing session set up the following in your bathroom
1.A change of Clothes ( something quick like sweats and a hoodie)
2. 2 Towels
3.Baby Oil ( quick makeup remover)

Someone comes home...run for the bathroom ,lock the door, turn on the shower.
Jump in, wash off the makeup quickly...Hop out...change.
Walk out the bathroom with your cd items wrapped in the "Other Towel"

Does anyone else do this???????

It also helps if you clean as you go as you are getting ready...and your room does not look like a drag queen exploded.

I was busted myself twice.
The first time was back in high school. Dad came back early from a trip to PA and I was sleeping in my girly pj's.

The last time I was up because I had this nasty cough and did not want to wake the wife so I went to my computer room and got online in a long black nightie, which I still have. Needless to say she was not happy.

Many years ago I was on the computer in a back bedroom. Being home alone I was dressed in garter belt, stockings, panties, bra and heels. All of a sudden I hear my name being called out. I had left the front door unlocked and the wife's best friend and her husband had just walked in without knocking. I did have a robe lying nearby. In about 10 seconds I had unhooked the stockings, pulled them off, removed the bra, stuffed the stockings and bra under the bed and pulled on the robe. Just as I pulled on the robe, the wife's friend walked into the room. She said hi and asked if I was ok. I said "Sure, Why". She replied I was red faced. I told her she almost caught me naked looking at porn. She laughed and asked if I was looking at anything good.
The funny thing is 6 months later the wife accidentally let it slip that I liked to dress. Her friend looked at me and said "So when are we going out with you dressed. Long story short. Her husband did not like to go out dancing and neither did my wife so for the next 2 years she and I would go out to bars and dance and her husband and my wife went to dinner and then came back and watched TV or played computer games. It was a great time for all but unfortunately they moved and the wife and I are in the middle of a divorce.

Sorry to hear about the divorce, Danielle. Been there. Remarried now. So, my current wife and I lived in a place a few years back where there was really no good place to hide. My wife had left for work and I was all dressed up with a pair of shoes on and happened to look out the window just in time to see her pulling up in the car. I had no idea how long she was planning to be home so I panicked and quickly went into the bathroom, locked the door, and turned on the shower. I hadn't practiced any kind of quick change up until then, but sure have since. Turns out she had forgotten her computer and just grabbed it and hurried out the door. Good thing, as there was really no place in the bathroom to hide my stuff ( I had a secret supply). On a side note, it seems to me that part of the thrill of cross dressing in secret is in the possibility of being seen. O, the irony. 😅😱

I actually had a few spots set up around the house for my "supergirl" quick changes before the SO knew about this. I had one in the basement that had a pair of shorts, a tshirt and a pair of socks. I had another under the sink in the bathroom in a plastic shopping bag that had sweats,a shirt and socks. That's two levels of the house covered but If I got caught between floors I was in trouble lol. Luckily I was never caught.

On another funny note, My SO has since found BOTH sets of clothes lol when she asked about them I just told her "that's supergirl's civies". They are both still in place though in case we get unexpected company though she would run interference now, you never know.

I have never been almost caught or caught before, I have left many telltales though and the one ime she came back right after leaving and saw the necklace I forgot to take off but other than that, I always knew when she was getting home ;)

So funny. Just this morning I step out to get the paper dressed like the picture below. Blam! My neighbor that takes his walk every morning is right there. I turn quickly and head back into the house hoping he remembers that I told him that my MIL is staying with us. Busted? Shit! I don't know and I don't care. Hell, he's retired and I've got 11 more years to work.

My story is a very close-call situation, so close that I still to this day don't know if I was caught or not. It was around 2/3 years ago and I was dressing in the house alone while my mum was at work (she worked late nights in London so I had the house free every evening). Anyway, I was pretty much done and about to get undressed before she came back when I noticed the bin needed taking out. I thought there couldn't be any harm in doing it while dressed, it was only about a 5m distance to cover outdoors. So I go out dressed head to toe like a girl, complete with wig and make up, to complete my mission. I put the rubbish in the bin outside and swivel for the return journey. As soon as I turned around, I hear my neighbours backdoor shut and freeze. My house is right on the end of a row of terraces that all have an alley that joins the back gardens, so of course, anyone wanting to go out to the street walks right past my house. And of course, just as I'm dressed outside for all of 10 seconds, my neighbour is one of those people. He walks by, sees me and stops for a split second, says hello and then goes on his way. Now, it was pitch black and my neighbour is pretty old so in my mind, him figuring out it was me in that getup is pretty slim, but in the back of my mind, something tells me he knew.

My closest call ever was almost 15 years ago, but still gives me heart palpitations when I think about it. My wife had left for work and I was dressed in my bra/forms, panties, stockings/garterbelt and heels with a sheer nightie, wearing lipstick and a bit of eye makeup. I was sitting in my upstairs computer room with the door closed when out of nowhere I heard a knock and my sister-in-law calling my name. I absolutely panicked and said "Don't come in, I'm not dressed!". She said no big deal, she just stopped by to pick up something my wife had left for her (she had a key to our house, obviously) and wanted to let me know she was there in case I heard her walking around the house.

I had never heard her come in the house and had no idea she was there until the knock on the door. I was absolutely mortified...although my wife knows about Cheri, she would have been livid if her sister had seen me and I'm sure I never would have lived it down - and there's no doubt she would have told her husband about it as well. I went out the next day and bought a locking doorknob set for that door, just in case she or anybody else popped in for an unannounced visit again! :)
