The SO says we're going to a water park with the kids and grandkids tomorrow. Had a pedi a week ago so I wait till she leaves the house and I go and remove all the polish for the water park because I know you can't wear shoes in there. So after she gets home we talk about going she tells me we will only be outside with the baby well everyone else it in the water:Angry3: Now I don't have any polish on and will have to wait a few weeks before I can get them done again.

Things like this are the reason why I do my own :) never know when it will have to come off and I save more money. I am wondering though, You live downriver, where is there a water park open this time of year?

I agree with Tonya. Is there any reason you can't paint them yourself? When I first started painting mine I didn't do so well. I wanted that professional look of perfection. I actually started looking at videos and found some very informative tips that have helped me. I actually do pretty good now. You should try it. Good luck. Nikki

Enough said. Kuddos to you. It sounds as if a pampering session is in the works for you whether it's before or after your trip. I still haven't the courage to go get a pedi and ask for anything else than clear, but that's another forum. This is about you. So enjoy your pedi when you get it done. Also enjoy those kiddos and trip. Nikki

Glenda, That is frustrating. I had a frustrating day yesterday, driving 80 miles round trip for nothing. I could not give plasma, because my temp was too low. I had to take polish off my toenails once, because i went swimming, but the nails were still a bit reddish. I seldom ever paint them, now. Too bad you can't reach the toes yet. More spending money! Our troubles are small, compared to the relatives and friends of Air Asia disaster, though.

One time I was working on a friend's car and after we finished he suggested that we grab a beer and jump into his hot tub. Without thinking I said "sure" and he went into his house to get a pair of trunks for me. At that point I realized that my toes were bright red! I nearly panicked, but spied a can of acetone and paper towels on the workbench. That was the fastest polish removal I ever did!

That was a couple of years ago. At this point in my journey the decision might be to just own it and go forward. I've seen some very Manly Men with polish on their toes.
