I am planning a trip to a casino and will be dressed for the entire weekend which I am very excited. The anxiety comes when I go to actually gamble. I usually play a lot and play table games. My players club card distinctly has my male name. I don't want to gamble without getting my appropriate credit, but I don't want to hand my mis-gendered players club card to the dealers and out myself immediately.
Has anyone ever asked for a second card with their female name?
Or how have you handled this?
Melissa Rose.

Go as you like. They want your money. As long as you aren't dressing to defraud it isn't an issue and if you win big they will tax your male name

I am not worried about presenting as female in the casino, but my male name is know by the dealers but I doubt they would recognize me unless I handed them my players club card with my male name on it. Plus I hate the idea of handing them a mis gendered card.
Has anyone ever attempted to get a players club card tied to their regular account/card?

Most are single player cards, one name-one card. And they aren't transferable.
You could try and have a new card issued (replace a lost card) and have your initials on it, i.e., M. Rose
You'll have to go to the signup booth to see if that is possible.
You can also call to see if they have a family plan (husband - wife on same account). Doubtful, which leads back to trying to get a card with your initials.
Don't forget, most, if not all, casinos will need to see an ID when signing up for or redeeming a card.

Yep. It's the Id part that gets me.
As I don't have a state issued ID showing Melissa.
I have asked about the multiple people and they do have "linked" cards but both people must be present to complete the form.
So, that leads me to consider asking about the casino's transgender policy...... and that's a harder step. Hoping someone has taken that step before.

Just use the card for slots then.

Well.. I don't play slots.. I am going on a completely comped trip and there is a certain play expectation. Just trying to meet that expectation in a fashion I want.

Hi. I work as a dealer in a casino and have dealt to several CD's over the years. I can tell you from experience that the floor person could care less what name is on the card. Trust me, seeing a CD doesn't begin to come close to all of the bizarre things that we see in the casino.
The only time where it may be an issue is if you have to redeem your comps. In those instances, a photo id is required. This would be no different than any other situation where you had to present your ID while enfemme. I doubt the casino would issue you another card with your female name on it, as this needs to match whats on your photo ID.
Actually, one of our biggest players is a TG. We all love her and she's a great tipper!!
Good luck at the tables. If you have any other questions, feel free to DM me.

As an update:.
I called my casino host and outed myself. She was very understanding and reassuring of my privacy. She was able to arrange a players club card linked to my male account showing my female name.
It was nice to be able to hand people a card with Melissa's name on it instead of my male name
Made me more comfortable while playing and came in handy while shopping on the property as I bought a new pair of heels and got my player's club card discount.. might have further confused the sales associate when I handed him Melissa's players club card.

Melissa, I believe saw a later post of yours a couple hours ago, so forgive me as I just got home myself from a week end trip. I am sure that you found that they don't care if your dress at the casino. I go to the local Indian casino all the time. I play the slots, and have won jackpots where they ask for your name and number for taxes. Everyone is nice and treats you with respect. The other gamblers are nice or will just leave you alone, as they don’t want to be asked to leave, anyway everyone is into what they are doing anyway, that is until you do something like hit a jackpot. I was in San Diego this weekend and went to a casino about 45 minutes from town. I didn’t win, but they had live music. Anyway I just wanted to post this for everyone else, casinos are safe and fun places to go, well maybe not for your money, just set your limit. Oh you still need to watch out for bad people when you’re coming and going from the casino. Love jean
