Is what flashed in my head as I packed up for this weekend. My wife and I will be going out with another couple this weekend and packing for even one night out takes a lot of crap, as many know. Dodged a bullet on that one! Something about forms just makes the shape work. That near miss also allowed me to remember a purse, sweater, slip. Whew!!!

cross dressing is just crazy

If anyone else gets into the same type of packing problem, just remember the old American Express jingle------"NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT"

It could have been worse - you could have forgotten to take them off and answered the door, gone to work, etc.

I went out for a couple hours yesterday evening. Drive, walk around the shopping center, fill the car with gas, etc. I realized when I got home that I had forgotten bracelets. Not as bad as boobs but I need all the help I can get.

Laughed aloud when I read this. The trip wouldn't have been the same without form...we do grow attached to them.

Never forgot boobs, but I did forget my hips once.

You have to have a checklist. A girlfriend of mine had an apartment where several girls would dress, some would entertain. It never failed, every time I dressed over there I forgot something at home. Usually something small but once I forgot my shoe bag.

Make a list. It's part of your overall plan. I live in a situation where no one of the four others in the house knows of my dressing, on purpose. for that reason I make a list of everything I use or wear when I go out dressed. Anywthing CD related that I purchase on the outing goes on the list. Cups from coffee or tea with lipstick marks are accounted for. I'm living a lie, and wayward clues in the form of a missplaced earring or mascara wand erode that very essential lie.
But it gives me a sense of confidence, and without that none of us will safely get out of any door..

Forgetting boobs wouldn't be such an issue for me. I could make them out of all the clothing I pack on trips. Forgetting BRAS, now THAT would be a big problem!

But, even worse, Jenn. I went to an out of state, week long, T girl event and left all my wigs at home!

Sherry, I actually remembered to bring a backup wig even but did forget the bra with the boobs. Glad I double checked!!!

and Ressie, moobs will not happen. Not a good look for a man

I can see it as a scene in a sitcom:

Jennie: Has anyone seen my boobs?
SO: Darling, EVERYONE has seen your boobs...

That is a great story Jen, it is funny when your packing for two if your not going to travel enfem which most don't.
I think it just makes it wonderful part of being a CD cause we can laugh at ourselves so eaisly
Thanks again Jen

oops! That wouldn't be good. At least when you forget to pack your toothbrush it's not too hard to find a backup or new one. :)

Once upon a time, I had gotten dressed and headed off to do some shopping. I drove about a mile or so and realized I had forgotten my forms. Drove back home and grabbed them. :)

Brings to mind my favorite Woody Allen line from "Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex* (*But Were Afraid To Ask).
This giant breast breaks free from the lab and the Sheriff is trying to capture it. There's one breast but he's using a giant bra with 2 cups.
When asked about it he says, "In my experience, these things usually travel in pairs".

Jennifer,
When traveling for an extended time I pack a small carry case, but when going away for the weekend in the car there is no limit.
I bought another inflatable bra. Now I can pump it up and let it down at will.

Good idea. Do you pack a can of Fix-a-flat for emergencies? :battingeyelashes:
